Very dangerous. You’ve never heard of kids who opened up the hot water while standing under the shower? Scary stuff I tell you!
Supervision is always important. But parents do have to let kids start doing small things by themselves. But to be quite honest, the last thing one should do is leave a kid alone in the bath/shower. Before that they need to stress the importance of safety. And kids by nature are very curious beings.
