...waisay excuse my language, magar yeh geo ka kiya maut paree rehti hai kay woh sirf dosray channel say hi loog kheench kay lanay mai interested hai, phir they have to pay them a lot more too. why can't they just introduce some new ppl?? pehlay nadia ko kheencha, phir Dr. Moiz ko phir shaista ko. pakistan ki baqi 17 karoor awam marr gai hai? i am sure they are tons and tons of talented ppl they can get without all the controversies.

@Tanvir- Dr.Moiz left Geo or Vice Versa :D So now it makes sense, maybe it was done cuz shaista had to be on the show. Aaah. Pathetic and i am not watching any morning show now except Sahirs ofcourse but WHEN he comes bk from his little too long holidays :P haha.

omg this is crazy, if its true. even if these hosts have to switch or quit channels why don't they wait out their contract and do it in a proper civil way like marina khan did. she explained to her viewers her reasons for leaving, did farewell shows, introduced the new host dr.shaista herself and left with dignity and poise, giving her loyal audience the respect and explanation they deserved.
geo will do anything to fill the spot of course by dangling money in front of these hosts, i won't be surprised if all the missing hosts these days are vying for this spot on geo, total disgrace. this mad dash for nadia khan's vacant spot is so disgustingly cheap, wheres their self-respect and pride?

oh wow dramaybazz, you came up with a great point, you are absolutely right. I am sure that is what all the missing hosts are doing.
...and lets not even compare those money-hungry hosts to marina khan. no wonder she is still so famous and people respect her so much. her kisi ko izzat raas nahi aati hai.

Popular morning host, Nadia Khan has been fired from Geo TV.
Nadia Khan, who was doing Morning Show with Geo has been fired and the reason is still unknown.
Nadia khan left ARY morning show,** 'Breakfast with Nadia'** in 2006 & joined Geo **network. She was the most successful morning show host on Geo till now.
According to the sources, many candidates were available for this slot including **Sahir Lodhi, Shaista Wahidi and Kiran and George, but it has been confirmed that Shaista Wahidi will be the new host for the morning show on Geo TV.

If Shaista is going to Geo she is going to be VERY restricted in her guest lineup and her creativity and what she can/cannot say.
Geo only talks about shows that are on-air on Geo and you cannot mention any other channels' dramas, movies, shows etc. Whereas with ARY, you could invite people and talk about work they have done for other channels. When Baber Javed came on NKS, Nadia only talked about "Kuch dil ne Kaha" and just hinted at Maan-o-salwa. She couldn't even say the latter's name!! It's an absolutely ridiculous policy.
I personally think it would be a very Stifling experience to be a Morning show host on Geo and you would really only do it for the big bucks.

i think shaista hit her head really bad on something, and lost major part of her working brain. you have to be completly dumb and stupid to join geo. nadia khan's fan already hate her, so they will never accept her. her fans are going to hate her for leaving ary. i was her fan, and i certainly hate her act. she will have a horribly hard time making her place on tv all over again while so many people will be judging her.
i don't think ary will be missing too much, nadia khan wasn't doing any morning show when they introduced her in to it, and she got famous, then they got marina khan to do the job when she had no experience with it, and she did very well too, same with shaista. nobody knew her before gmp, and now everyone does. they will not have any trouble getting a new host and going ahead with their show, but geo will have a tough time getting shaista back on her feet, and making people to like her again
