By animal I mean, living creature other than man.
Someone told my daughter that it was a crow. I’m not sure.

Re: What was the forst animal created by Allah?
I don't know ... but using a bit of logic it must be something that can perform photosynthesis, so it would be green plants or some microbes that can do the opposite of respiration in order for higher order animals to feed off them.
You can't get a lion living very long without it's staple food, which happens to be another animal so it must be that whatever is at the beginning end of the food chain must be the creature that was created first.
Unless Allah (SWT) kept the crow alive without it's food, which is possible.
Re: What was the forst animal created by Allah?
There's a riwayah that it's dog. Allahu alim
Re: What was the forst animal created by Allah?
if evolution is to be believed, then it must be a single celled creature. but from your question it feels like you dont believe in evolution, so i guess you wont accept that answer.
Re: What was the forst animal created by Allah?
Taking clue from Quran and Bible Allah created the whole universe in six days/periods/spaces of time.
And also Allah says in Quran that he says for something to Happen and it happens. "Kun fa Yakun"
Allah created things in groups for example he created abodes for his creatures first and then created all the life support/sustaining systems as a group so and so forth. Similarly he created all the living things together as a group not individually.
I know there are some flaws in my theory and logic but this the best I could do.

for obvious reasons, can not happen at the same time.
haha. yeah I always wondered that. I asked my mum once and she told me it takes time to make the universe.

Please avoid to rub your atheism in my face. You do not have to be a show off about your beliefs.
But mirch, its a legit dilemma. Id love to hear a *religious *answer to this contradiction.

Why not?
One ayah is about the period of Creation and the other is how God creates.
Re: What was the forst animal created by Allah?
I heard somewhere that it was a 'dog'...if we are strictly talking about animals.
There's a riwayah that it's dog. Allahu alim
Oh, sorry i think I have skipped your comment. Yeah i think it's a dog as well.
But mirch, its a legit dilemma. Id love to hear a *religious *answer to this contradiction.
Obviously Jaanaan and you did not read my post with an open mind. I theorized that Allah said Kun Fa yakun for groups of things to be created. Allah has powers to do whatever , whenever , and in whatever manner Allah wants.
Allah is not constrained by our minds , our logic , our framework and our line of reasoning.
Who can stop Allah from doing whatever Allah wants ? I believe in Allah and Allah's power and Allah being Kullay Sahin Qadeer.
You can believe whatever you like .
Allah Says in Quran " Lakum deenakum wa leeya deen. " Tell the disbelivers "for you your way(belief) and for me my way( belief) ."
This discussion is started by a Muslim woman who wants to answer to a question by her Muslim kid and she wants answer consistent with Islamic thinking. If you want to discuss evolution vs creation.
You do not even have to do that in this thread. Doing so in my opinion in this thread is a show off.
You can conveniently open a thread in religion forum to discuss that . Also you can go to some other forums which are devoted to that discussion.
Why is there a need for you and Jaanaan to show off to everyone that you believe differently ? Some insecurities ? Some doubts in your minds about the soundness of your own beliefs ?
Re: What was the forst animal created by Allah?
insecurites? NO. doubts? yes.
Re: What was the forst animal created by Allah?
For the atheists friends...
I guess, the time factor, six days, used in referring to Allah Almighty and the creation of the Universe, is essential, in explaining why Islam strictly forbids 'MAGIC' and considers one of the biggest sins. Because as for ALlah, 'Kun Fa yakun' already describes that if He wants then He can. And no other shall claim divine powers but Allah only.
I guess we should read the scripts in accordance to the context and the story... and it will give out the general outline of what's what. Rather than taking one sentence and raving about it.

dude wth? I actually was looking for a good reason and you gave it to me. I never once had the intention to make this into an creation vs evolution thread because i dont believe in evolution.
I think you are the one with insecurities here. I just asked a question that happens to be also asked by some known evolutionist on this board. Hell I dont even know if that janaan guy is an atheist or a evolutionist. why so defensive?
insecurites? NO. doubts? yes.
Open a thread in Religion forums about your doubts and start a debate , that is a better and civilized way of clearing your doubts.

Maybe you two need to study the theories on relative time.
I have noticed ignorance tends to make most people more talkative.
Re: What was the forst animal created by Allah?
By believing that God is the creator doesn't defy any scientific logic.
Re: What was the forst animal created by Allah?
Science cannot accept something that existed forever. But thats another topic. Everything has quantifiable parameters in science and nothing is transcendent. Allah is transcendent.
