I was thinking that too, because well if he is really religious im sure that he wouldnt never accept that his wife has been with someone before marriage and its also thing what probably family doesnt want to tell anyone outside of family so that would be reason why they are not telling why they got separated..

They aren't my cousins lol. I am in now way related to them, my family just knows their family. The girls mom has been working for my dado since before I was born, and the girls dad is our gate kepper, and the guys mom and sisters work for my phupoo.
would like to move on with their lives.....but society interfers with that process of moving on by reopening closed chapters and discussing personal matters that don't concern them. It's best if people et the family have their privacy and move on with their life in peace.
Obviously they haven't moved on because the girls family is always at my grandparents house complaining about the same issue. All they say is that he said something and they won't go on from that, but they bring it up any chance they get. So whenever I call my dado, or cousins the girls mom will just go in the background "usse pucho kya howa, America main rehthee hain, uskho putta ho gah". I don't know how she made that connections, but they are the ones that drag me into it.
The guys family does the same thing at my phupoos house.
The guy is now married. The girl's family needs to understand that their daugther is now engaged and has moved on with her life. Dwelling over the reasons is not going to undo what happened. You can help them to move on from this emotionally....but changing the subject and not encouraging discussion on the matter.
