And for the better understanding of GS folks here, its actually the people living IN Pakistan who are more disillusioned and unhappy and bad mouthing about the country than the other nationality holders. Those are rather kind and considerate because they have their own version of “our land of the pure” “the fruit of the sacrifices of elders”, the Pakistan, they might have changed their views once they had a chance to come and live and survive here.

I think a few things that make one a pakistani are:

• When someone asks about your origins… u dont have to think twice before replying that you are a Pakistani. Hence, you dont really have to explain how ur not really born there but ur parents blah,blah etc. You consider urself a pakistani, hence you are one.
• You know exactly what to yell back, when someone yells PAKISTAN!.. your first instinct is to say “ZINDABAD!” eventhough it may or may not be true.
• You know what nihari is and have had it before
• you know what a shalwar kurta is
