i am flattered for your concerns of children of PTI, only if NS stop thinking about his children for second and think about other children in Pakistan, we may not have gotten at this impasse.

yes, the good old innuendos without proof. It could be aliens from mars behind this because they think they own the color green outright.
Re: What is the proposed road map of Imran Khan
;)dont forget the india, that's another classic.
Re: What is the proposed road map of Imran Khan
Bhutto tried to make Pakistan strong , developed Pakistan as atomic power . He signed an agreement of an atomic reprocessing plant with France .
That was an extreme . US came out openly against him .

But you keep asking for map from people who don't have clue? irony, how rich:)
Re: What is the proposed road map of Imran Khan
Imran khan is going for Bangladesh model, which has failed in that country. Technocrat government was formed to oversee the elections. Hasina wajid is back in the saddle where as khalida zia is in waiting. The ensuing strikes have only damaged the country's economy.

BD model requires a cooperative judiciary. Judiciary has already sided with the system. I don't think that's an option available to Imran Khan.
Frankly speaking Ik himself doesn't know the road map. He is just thinking one step at a time. The dangerous thing knowing his egoistic nature is he has over committed himself. Certainly he is not a politician.. or a great visionary who would think about any long term viable plan.
He was given a face saving by the PM through formation of SC commission. Last night Chaudry Nisar offered him a face saving by arresting him in his Bani Gala residence. SMQ tried to persuade him to take this face saving. He did not leave the container this morning. He is not even talking to Asad Umar.. accusing him of not arranging crowds from Islamabad.
One thing which has become very clear from all this episode is that PTI is not a party. It's a single man cult. When all this drama fizzles out.. you can safely assume that PTI will become a much weaker party.. with party leader on a suicide mission to safeguard his over committed ego.
I can confirm to you that the government will let them go to the red zone.. there will be no resistance.. if some close government officials are to be believed.

i agree reed that's why he's looking towards GHQ as well as they have the magic wand. Anyways I don't even see the army stepping in.

Lets be very clear.... Imran and or PTI is going without any model and without any thought. It has become crystal clear that this whole march was not given any strategic thoughts by PTI leadership and decisions are now being taken on adhoc basis.
Resignations or no resignations or partial resignations, march into red zone or not, road map to final outcome, constitutional nuisances....none of these strategic topics were given any thought....
DO you know when imran talked about the technocrat govt, his own leadership was shocked. They had no clue that khan will propose technocrat model.
A party who could not even plan the very first night should be ashamed for putting his its supporters through this mess.
Re: What is the proposed road map of Imran Khan
Thing is that nothing will come out of this. What Pti wants becomes irrelevant as they are no longer a stake holder in the system.

you have done one hell of a job of categorically exposing the lack of any eventual road map and potential constitutional hindrances in PTI march.....no one in their camp has any answer. Many political commentators have asked similar questions to PTI leadership in different programs but got no answer. We have a constitution in pakistan today and it demands certain things.....are we going to obey that constitution once PMLN govt is gone or are we going to obey saint khans so called dreams

Road map has been there. Point is that criticizing PTI is the in-thing, so its easy to turn eyes from facts, and easier to pick on PTI/Imran. Imran has said in an interview that primary requirement is NS's resignation, and after that, negotiations can be held with the treasury benches on how to proceed in auditing the elections. If election audit uncovers large enough frauds, then next step is to agree on an interim govt, execute electoral reforms, and then conduct mid-term elections.
In light of the recent court decision calling for a murder case to be registered against the Sharif brothers, they should have resigned anyway, but as expected, their behavior is no less than monarchs.
Re: What is the proposed road map of Imran Khan
In any civilized or truly democratic society the Supreme Court would have declared the election result null and void at the slightest indication of rigging in the election and ordered a full investigation. This is what should have happened in 2013. Whether it would have changed the overall election result is besides the point but rules are rules. They should have let the interim set-up continue until auditing of election had been completed. All the corrupt returning officers should have been held accountable and punished. But as it turned out later, the CJ was in cahoots with the Sharifs. Even if Ifti did not have a direct hand in rigging, we all know that his sympathies lay with the Sharif brothers. So nothing good or impartial could be expected from him. I did not agree with IK back then in 2008 when he repeatedly referred to CJ as a brave and honest judge. While the judiciary was freer than before I knew that it was far from being neutral or impartial.
The 2000 US Presidential election result was delayed for more than a month until a recount of defective ballots was completed in Florida.
