Basically a Rogue army. An institute that has sucked the blood out of this country and lost every war, most humiliating surrender after WW2, Abbottabad incident, etc. The bloody losers are so mad at a leak which is OUR right to know. Every one in world knows the reality of this Army, its the truth that across the power corridors in the world, our electeds were told to control your Rogue army first before talking about India in Kashmir. This is shameful for us who in some way, shape or form are feedings this Army. Big deal if something is leaked. True losers..

No. Qauid-e-Azam’s biggest mistake was, soon after partition he should have announced elections and established true democracy like in India. Perhaps Bengali would have been still rulers of combined Pakistan. He should have never be part of the government as Governor General. But then who does not have lust of power. He was dictator by nature and after his death adventurers took over his legacy. He founded the ‘holy cows’ and gave them eternal power. He founded Pakistan and dictatorship simultaneously.

this is a very interesting point Sach has made. I never thought about Quaid azam this way but then again I am a man of limited IQ who was raised in Pakistan and was always encouraged not to question anything and simply succumb to all norms. I am therefore the first one to admit that I am unfortunately not qualified enough to comment on Sach’s comment. Can someone on this forum please confirm the historical accuracy of Sach’s statement? Quiad died after 12 months of Pak formation. That is a fact but in those 12 months did he ever try or express interest in conducting elections in Pakistan? was he too sick?
and when did elections take place in India?

if we promote the idea that*** " we are democracy lovers but hey hell with such dirty and corrupt politicians… and that they need to be fixed and therefore we are OK with army kicking them out or insult them"*** then I am sorry this argument has some basic flaws. if we go by this logic then i can guarantee you that no govt in Pak will every survive and army will need to intervene. PPP has thieves, PMLN has thieves, MQM has thieves, ANP has thieves and once PTI is in power, they will have thieves too. what does it mean? does it mean that army shd have kicked Zardari’s corrupt govt out too? but hey wait, they shd have kicked PMLN govt out too…it is corrupt too. and hell, they shd have kicked MQM govt out for sure as it was super corrupt. and so was ANP…it just goes on and on
if we go by the above mentioned logic, indian army shd have intervened many times by now because many indian govts have been corrupt too. when indra implemented emergency, indian army shd hav taken over the govt. it was a golden chance for them…but indian army did not take over and let the democracy flourish.
we need to have a similar attitude in pak

Its not like Army is pure, Army has equal or more thieves, power hungry looters. The only difference is that they have guns, tanks and power. I fully agree that any one who think Army has right to kick and govt or disrespect a govt chosen by people is blind idiot who should be open to utter failures of our army and its baysharam haramkhor badmash generals.

The example of India you quoted! Do you even know that the 1st general elections held in India was in 1951-52, i.e. four years after independence!!!
And first Marshal Law attempt in Pakistan was in 1948?
The notion that Quaid-e-Azam should have held election on 16 August 1947 is totally rubbish.
The country was under formation, millions were migrating, civil service was torn apart, treasury have its own issue and you are here questioning why elections were not held then and there…
The army’s lust of power is not confined till Pak Army; Eyptians, Syrian, Iraq, Turkey and Libya and later Bangladesh all these armies over-threw their civil govt in order to break status-quo and created biggesr status-quo ever…
So it is Dillema of “Ummah” , i dont know why but for some reasons the Generals of Muslim armies think it is their birth-right to be in power and they always finds likes of Khursheed Shah to back them up…

Who said elections on 16 August? A plan for elections on 16 August must have been presented instead of becoming first Governor General passing unilateral key decisions without the wishes of people then which ultimately broke his own Pakistan in 1971.
