Food has always just made sense to me. I am most at home in a kitchen. Any kitchen. I try not to get stuck on any one particular cuisine. I mean every culture has a set of comfort foods that are familiar (you know… Proust and his madeleines, Americans and their ‘mac & cheese’, etc) but I always try to not be complacent when I cook. I like being far outside my comfort zone.

Made a huge batch of ackee and saltfish for breakfast:

I have always wondered about ox tail but never cooked, do you cook it like regular curry?

So when Pakistani people ask me how come I cook so good my secret is that I put a lot of mirch in it and when I think that I put enough I double it, Kha kar paseena nahi chootay tau woh kia khana hai..lol..did you cook yourself. Why mutton..real manly food is bhensa my dear nephew. Bakra tau mareezon kai wastey hauta hai…lol

lol, to be honest, me bohat ziada mirchein khata tha, but ab normal hi khata hoon kyunke dad ne bhi khana hota hai.. Nahi Uncle, my dad cooked it.. me sirf unko dekhta hoon, lol.. and haan, unke bnaye huye khane bhi khata hoon
I love beef, qeema usi ka banta hai.. and guess what, kal ya parson Beef Karahi bhi banegi (malai maar ke) 
but mutton ka sawad hi wakhra hai… specially Mutton Chanpein…

In Pakistan beef was half price of bakkra and here good beef is twice that of lamb. I can get lamb here for 12 dollars a kg and good beef steak is 24 dollars a KG. what is the price of meat in Pak?

I know only the strong can handle that..lol.. some of my steaks are like a kilo each and me n boys wolf them down. I haven’t had camel meat and getting too old to try new things. Bison meat is getting popular here. How camel taste?

I’m not fond of steak.
Not many I know like camel meat. I don’t know how to explain what it tastes like. :bummer:

Mutton is 800-Rs/kg and beef is 300-Rs/kg..

Thankfully they haven’t acquired the taste and we can get mutton here at a good price, lamb chops are half price to steaks, but then our beef is different, the steaks here are butter soft.
