well, since they have so much land already and are not supposed to fight for expansion, explain why they can not donate to their felow muslims and create a little Palestine. Oh , yes, I forget, they need an excuse to hate the jews besides the usually vitrolic diatribe of not associating with 'infidels'.
Does anyone here ever analyze what they are taught? Or is being a sponge easier than using the brain.
COUNTRY ABOVE ALL SHOULD COME FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:) :) :) :)
oR SIMPLY STATED, how to keep control of people and instill yourself as a “potentate” of a newly created religion, tell them you are the last prophet, and if you unconvert you will die. To the many uneducated or with lowered IQs such hocus pocus can really put the fear into them . Don’t dare to ask questions of your cleric unless you want to appear not properly obedient and submissive and subordinate. Meglomaniac rulers, tyrants, dictators, autocrats and theocrats rely on obedience, submission and subordination without question. Thus , the Invisible Boogie man always more frigtening to the unthinking and unquestioning then the tangible lunatic screaming across from them. And one wonders why Islamic countries of today had once a history rich in philosophy, inventions, artists, poets, music , dancers and today? Islamic countries in the middle ages were far more advance. REad your history on civiliazations , and today???hadiths and sunnahs have lain the brain baren and the result of it ---- social , cultural and political progress has been retarded. If you need a clear example of this, see Afghanistan.
If you read history about Catholic controlled countries the same suppression, obedience and submission was expected. Heck , if more people did not get opportunity for education Europe would still be living in the dark ages, earth would remain flat and the sun would still be be orbiting us today and angels would still be prancing in the clouds. As for dinosaurs , all fundamental /orthodox believers of the main faiths know they did not exist.
Religion of course, partisanship based on anything else whether it be common land, culture, race or state/government is discriminatory and blinding, at least I know my religion will never tell me to do anything wrong if I follow it in letter and spirit.
When it comes to identities like British or Indian or Pakistani it even becomes silly to give them undue importance because they are just an artificial identity some government chose to impose on you, they're not even proper ethnicities like Welsh or Tamil or Pashtun, it's just a political label instead of a part of you that you feel and live. Being Pakistani has no relevance to me what so ever, however I am very comfortable and content with being Pashtun but that doesn't mean my political allegiances will be with an atheist or a secular Pashtun just because he is my co-ethnic, I feel an affinity to any Muslim whether they are Punjabi from Lahore or a Gujarati from Surendranagar, we are allowed to belong to our ethnic groups and follow our different cultures (keeping them inline with Islamic principles) as long as we don't make them a matter of pride or disdain or political allegiance (because ideally Muslims worldwide are meant to have one goverment/state).
My work colleague and me were having this conversation and he said if there's a world war III you and me as British citizens will have to go to war and we'll most likely be allies with America against the Middle East, I told him straight I don't believe in killing innocents whether they are American or Middle Eastern so I would say no even if that equates to treason and they shoot me on the spot because any amount of suffering in this world is worth not having to live with guilt and ending up in hell, he told me "for queen and country Raheel for queen and country, anything goes, it would be worth killing anyone for queen and country", his eyes were gleaming when he said that, it made me sick, nationalism is so evil it makes otherwise decent people like him so blind with passion they loose their senses, he has such a cute child God forbid that anything happen to her but even as a parent himself he couldn't relate to the parents in the Middle East who are loosing their children.
Partisanship is for the sake of God, I know that just as prophesised in our scriptures the Muslim world is divided spiritually and politically and their are many in our own ethnic groups and others who don't believe in the concept of the Muslim nation but they don't disillusion me anymore, I concern myself with my Lord and leave them up to him.
You should read about how Sa'ad bin Abi Waqqas dealt with his mother, how Abu Obaydah 'Amr bin Al Jarrah dealt with his father, how Abu Bakr dealt with his son.
You should also read about Salman Al Farisi, and what he did with his country.
radiAllahuanhum
Father or mother?
Son or daughter?
wife or children?
okay so when you are done answering this one, also please please tell me what came first: chicken or egg.
Dear Guys
I think it is an issue of relativity, and different things become a priority at different times. Quoting an example from my family, we are two brothers, both in forces, the elder one as a Pilot, myself as a Doctor. Many years ago, probably in 1982 he told me a sentence, which I have'nt forgotten. He said, and I quote,
"If in a particular situation, I have to choose between myself and my family, I will multiply myself with ZERO. If I have to choose between my family and my country, I will multiply my family with ZERO. And if I have to choose between my country and my religion, I will multiply my country with ZERO".
In my opinion, as a Muslim, he was right and I also think the same. My descending order of priorities while adhering to relativity is;
1. Islam
2. Country
3. Family
4. Self.
I think its true with most of the Muslims.
Wassalam.
Family > Country > Religion is not the rule, there will be exceptions to it. But it holds true in most of the cases and is practical and logical.
You can also extend it to
Self > Family > Country > Religion
I see from Dr. Sufi's response that he places Self to the last position which is totally wrong.
Selfishness is not always bad and selflessness is not always good. Depends on how you define 'selfish', it's used as a derogatory word generally but all of us are selfish really.

infinit, what you are saying is "actual" (what really happens) relationship (Self > Family ... ) what most people IMO said were "what it should be".
I agree that it depends on situations, there can be times when you value your interests before religion/country or other entity, but it should not become a norm (which unfortunately does happen).
Just a thought the people who are claiming religion, country and then family;
Is it right then when the westren countries think that their muslim citizens are not loyal to the country? By most of the post it seems so.
Why do then these muslims live in the westren countries if they don't love their country of residense, wouldn't it make sense to move to a country of choice/origin where at least you will not be thought as traitor/disloyal.
You r absolutely right Tahir **COUNTRY **is the right answer 500% right :k: i would also like to live in Religions Free country coz wherever is religion you cant expect peace there. People who talk about Religion they should move to new country called “Religionstan” on the very next day that will be called a new “Taliban” and according to me only fool nikamme befkoof run after religious human-made things. Humanity is the real thing but people forget humanity coz of religious things. Religions should be terminated from our planet.
