Country or religion ?
For me its country, some might say i am wrong ? But thats what I am. I feel its more practical in this politicised world. If this was not so, OIC would have been one country !!!

if country based on religion and follows relgious rules, then why not the country. its making sure the religion stays alive, so yah.. Country!

Religion. Muslims are not supposed to fight for land expansion unless it has something to do with muslims being oppressed.

Not a big historian here but didnt Islam went all the way to Spain? werent muslims the ones doing the oppressing to the natives of the countries?

Religion. In most cases, I see that a religion is best served through having a strong country with a population that follows that religion.
Hence my belief that, for example, Islam would be weakened if Pakistan was weakened (ie through the Muslim world losing some of its its most advanced weapon factories and scientific institutions). So protecting Pakistan protects Islam.

okay if there is a war betwen twomuslim states pak and afghanistan and as pakis we know that pakistan is the aggressor what are we supposed to

Well actually for me, religion and nation are both equal as Hinduism and Hindustan are so intertwined that it is impossible to give one preference over the other. I can say the same for Jews from Israel.
Now if I were Pakistani muslim, I would give preference to nation because, my nationality implies my religion and not vice-versa. Even if I were a Pakistani Hindu, then too I would have given importance to nation because my identity is ''Pakistani Hindu'' and not ''Hindu Pakistani''. The word Pakistani comes first.
But then I would have also made sure that my compatriots dont bring harm to any aspect of Hinduism in India or Pakistan such as temple destruction or any such thing.
So nationality comes first, as religion is automatically taken care of afterwards.

If it is an established fact that Pakistan is the aggressor then I will side with Afghanistan. Our first preference should be to mediate and make the two brothers in Islam (Pakistan and Afghanistan) settle their disputes.
