Women are Crazy Men are Stupid

like to read funny books.

loved train to pakistan!!! OMG so well written and I was in love with the gunda in it - wished there was more of the book.

inheritance of loss is just to sad for me.. and slightly sick in some places.

Re: What are you reading?

I started this book some time ago but got distracted. Anyway my second attempt has shown it to be an interesting book. The White Mughals by William Darlymple

Yeah, a well written book, too short!
i wonder what happened to Juggu's pregnant lover - Noor or something, right?
feel sad for that.

The Inheritance of Loss seems a good book, but not sure if Pulitzer worthy!

Re: What are you reading?

Read The Inheritance of Loss by Kiran Desai.
was good, but every Pultizer winner has to be depressing?

currently reading The Japanese Wife by Kunal Basu.
its a short story collection. and the title story is quite interesting.

^^ I read The Miniaturist by Kunal Basu. Interesting setting, but I found it a bit too graphic. How's the Japanese wife? Or give a review when you are done.

Am reading The Immigrant by Manju Kapur. have read one of her books before but cant recall which one. The Immigrant is good so far, Ms Kapur writes really vividly:)
