1 - Saint Petersburg, Russia
2 - Prague, Czech Republic
3 - Barcelona, Spain

Amber: Cali is all about outdoors
in one day, we can see dry mountains, green mountains, ocean, snow,…

there are no mountains in in south of california but north of it
this means that all the hot air from mexico gets funneled in the los angeles valley area

^ Northern California (SF Bay area) has excellent weather, in my opinion. Not too too hot (hardly ever goes beyond mid 90's). Usually stays in 70's. And never goes freezing cold. Never snows. Generally doesn't go below early to mid 50's in winter. Nights can be in 40's, but no way you have to wear layers of clothing or gloves etc (unless you are at a ball game at Giants Ball park on SF ocean front).

BayArea Cali doesn't have a weather. They have only one season called mild. :-P

S. Cali has a lot of mountains. most of them get dry in summer if there is no rain.
Life in the South is more fun than North :D

Except for horrible smog and messy traffic, I really love Southern California. San Diego is probably one of my all time favorite cities.

no no, what i meant to say is that there are lots of mountains in southern california but they are located north of los angeles which means that they prevent cold air from the north coming to los angeles and keep the hot air from mexico boxed in that area
thats why its so hot in LA

the cities in Orange County are very neat & clean too. Traffic is mostly fine. but yea, the traffic in LA is just horrible. it takes us almost 2 hrs to drive 35 miles during rush hrs. and Rush Hrs = almost the whole day.

well you disssed chicago in the previous point in your intiial entry, so I thought it would be appropriate to bring up the fact that by your view weather in dallas may be better but your second reason shows the opposite results. no biggie. just messin around.

you are very welcome to come and enjoy a real city for a vacation. just make sure you leave the hats and cowboy boots home, ppl may stare at you.

San Diego is probably one of my all time favorite cities.
I love san diego, at one point in time it was my fav city in US, still is up there in my fav cities list.

well, mountains are pretty much everywhere in S. Cali.
valleys are comparatively hot. The cities close to the ocean are a little better. its dessert so doesan't get humid which is great.

And no we wont be there to see the real city ..It still is our EX city too...meeting up with friends and our old haunts..and for Vacation...I prefer the Sunny California:P

although i must say I had a blast during spring break at south padre island but that was a different time and a different me.
