BTW can the fielding ask for extra time if light allows when he thinks he can the remaining wickets in 30 min time or so ????

I know that batting side can as for another 30 min or so if the think they can achieve a certain target within this time

Windies really put themselves into this position, you don't want to be overly defensive, because collapses occur when batsmen are overly defensive.
