Re: West Indies v England 5th Test @ Port of Spain, Trinidad
*another boring match
*
The ICC should ban all cricket in West Indies until they start preparing sporting pitches :)
This wicket is as phatta as many others in this series
since there wont be any series in Pakistan (the heaven of flat pitches) … we can sign the petition ![]()
Re: West Indies v England 5th Test @ Port of Spain, Trinidad
**England declared their innings at 546/6
just 18 overs left for 2day
**
Close of Play Day2:
West Indies (92/1) off to a blistering start (RR: 4.84) confirming that there is nothing in this pitch for the bowlers
Gayle 49*
Re: West Indies v England 5th Test @ Port of Spain, Trinidad
**windies: 157/3
still need 188 more runs to avoid follow-on
**
Re: West Indies v England 5th Test @ Port of Spain, Trinidad
**West Indies in all sort of trouble........
Gayle retired hurt on 100 ......
n chanderpaul is limping too ..........
windies 211/4
**
Re: West Indies v England 5th Test @ Port of Spain, Trinidad
"Too many batsman are getting RETIRED HURT today," announces Manoj ... Sachin, Gayle, Smith, Kallis ..." Yeah, weaklings
WI just 42 runs away from avoiding the follow-on. This series is so dull, full of runs nothing exciting.

Close of Play Day3
England 546/6d
West Indies 349/4
Chanderpaul 52*
Nash 70*
By saving the follow-on, West Indies have all but saved the game and won their first series against a major test nation in a while.
Re: West Indies v England 5th Test @ Port of Spain, Trinidad
*indeed some sigh of relief for windies
*
Re: West Indies v England 5th Test @ Port of Spain, Trinidad
WI at 434/4
Chander at 90*
Nash 105*
Re: West Indies v England 5th Test @ Port of Spain, Trinidad
**chanderpaul moved to 98 ![]()
**
Nash looks like a decent batsman/bowler. He has an avg. of 50 in 7 tests. He certainly saved them today.

Re: West Indies v England 5th Test @ Port of Spain, Trinidad
Beefy Still (he was and remains a sore loser) ranting about Shiv was out although there seem to be daylight between bat and ball and the noise came from bat brushing the toe
WI 523-7 still trailing ENG by 23 Runs
Match heading towards a tame draw unless England push up the score once there turn to bat comes and come out all guns blazing
West Indies 1st innings 544 all out.
