Do not agree. 7000+ ODI runs at an average of 52

Dhoni is a match-winner in ODIs for sure, one of the better finishers in the game (cf. Bevan).

But too often you see him stranded with the tail. He needs to bat higher (no. 4 or 5)

No Brother,
He takes an easy game, makes it difficult and more often than not lose at the end..
I can recall several innings when he came in with the required run rate at 4-5, increased it to 8-9 and then Either finish off on the last ball (lucky) or lose the match.
