The Sunday Bazar in Karachi thats held in Clifton has a stall set by Pathans that sell real raw or polished stones from the northern regions.
So if anyones interested in just getting stones then they should check that place out. However you need an eye and knowledge of what is real and whats not.
The pathans of that stall are very chalak and will try to sell you stuff overpriced though.
I will HIGHLY recommend you to buy a nice gold plated set to wear on your wedding and spend the rest of the money on medium sized real gold sets because those are the ones you'll really get to wear. Spending thousands of dollars on a set that you'll wear only a few times in your entire life does not make sense, trust me. I'm regreting that I spent so much on my Nikah set because I haven't worn it even once after the wedding!
thats really a nice idea. We have also seen someone do that on their wedding. Btw, since you came up with it, you must be having a idea how beautiful and at once expensive these sets are to the extent that one can never tell a fake from a real one.
However, sadly there is no such thing like that in my family but this seems like a fabulous idea in terms of saving money that will be spent on a set which is usually worn just once for showsha.
