There's a Wedding in the family on the 6th and 20th feb.. So, this was the only option left :)
we didn't wanna keep it in Muharram.... Safar mein bhi nahi kertay shaadi..?? ALLAH TALLAH apnay Hifzo Aman mein rakhe... I hope all goes well...

As for me, i'm going back home in december. My nikah will be done after the 10thof Moharram. My parents are saying to do simple small nikah ceremony without rukhsati. Then when my hubby comes to Canada, then have full wedding with rukhsati. I on the other hand want to have full wedding back home and just do wedding reception in Canada. Do you guys think its not good to have weddings in Moharram and safar? Pls let me know. Thnks

supsup...hey congrats :) i think go for it, lik i mentioned before der is no proof or anything written anywere dat u cant get married in muharram and safar its just dat alot of our elders are used to just avoinding marriage at that time, but google it and see for urself.. go on islamicity and search it.
i personally think its ok as all the days are given by allah SWT.
I think get married in pak and have ur reception in canada, it will be better for u n hubby both to enjoy both days as much as u can, good luck and take care! :)

Thanks Zara. Well Hun although i am following it. I personally dont think it matters. Especially the safar month. So you are fine and everything Inshallah will turn out fine. I have to follow my Inlaws so yeah.
And for the wedding in Decemeber. My cousion is getting married right around 10th december. and she is having a full wedding and she cant delay it because of her studies and work. So, it happens. Dont Worry too much about it and Enjoy!

Supsup, i'd say have the wedding in Pakistan and recp in Canada...
Weddings in Pak are a lot more fun! And it depends where ur family is (majority). Goodluck!
