Here's what I do.
I'm getting married in Jan '09. I live in the US and am going to pak in november.
I drink room temp lemon water each morning.
Go to the gym 4 times a week.
- aerobics
- kick boxing
- muscle toning etc
- have a good, hearty breakfast
- Have replaced lunch with a bowl if cereal. With some kinda fruit in it. Usually bananas.
- I have dinner BEFORE 8pm. Since I dont sleep before 12:30-1:00AM
For dinner I have anything I want or whatever's cooked. BUT I have half of what I would eat. Portion control!
EAT EAT EAT. Just half of what you would normally eat with my 4 days of gym.
I'm all ripped and cut right now and cant wait to get to pak!

i don't need to loose any weight - that would make me underweight but i wanna get fit and tone up. i've been saying since january that i will start going for a run in the mornings but it hasn't happened :'(
i need motivation to get up in the morning! waaah!

^ yea if you only have a month you can't let yourself slip even for one day.
i did put on some weight last year, for the first time in my life but then i lost it all in 5 weeks when i went to pakistan. it was like 4kg in 5 weeks. i was eating 3 meals but they were quite small in portion size and i hardly snacked at all. none of this was intentional though, it was just the circumstances.
anyway, i think it is doable, especially combined with exercise. you just have to be strict with yourself.

Hey president, did u have a lot of weight to lose? if so how much and how long did it take - whats the best time to exercise do u think? i've heard first thing in the morning is best on an empty stomach.

Dont exercise on an empty stomach..if you do..your body will go into survival mode..and wont let go of the fat. Snack on something healthy 20 min before you are starting your workout...that way you will keep the metabolism working...and your blood sugar will remain normal for the rest of the day....and you ll lose weight quick!

how much weight have you ladies lost using the tips given and in how much time? its so hard to stick to a routine, especially when you're doing it alone :(.

as in a day 2 bananas and a glass of milk in the morning,2 bananas and one glass of milk in the afternoon and 2 bananas and a glass of milk in the night.
i think if u guyz go on weird diets..u might lose the weight..whihc iwll come back again soon most probably..but also ur skins will not look as healthy if ur cutting soe food groups out n stuff..y not just exercise n eat good food?..exercise will make ur skin glow and u know what?..its fun..especially wiht good music ;)

hey girls!
ok i tried to kinda stop eating my fav sort of food- junk & i just couldn't do it!
so i started to eat smaller portions (inc junk food)- but more of them so im kinda like munching on things here & there..i drink between 2-3 litres in a day, i started walking & i try not to eat after 7 & guess wot im losing weight! wierd thing is im not even on a diet, im eating my chocolates, biscuits but less of them so im still enjoying myself...
my advice would be (i agree with soni) dont stop eating the stuff u love ur going to find it harder, break up ur meals into smaller portions- which actually means ur having like 6 meals a day in comparison to 3 meals & try to take up opportunities to walk....

DIET:
Day 1 & 2:
papaya
chicken/fish (steamed/grilled , do not use any yogurt or high calorie marinades)( without skin and fat, prefer boneless breast pieces and NO sausages pls)
Day 3&4:
black chana ( u can mk salad with little veg and mk sabji with abt 1-2 tsp oil)
2 glasses of orange juice in a day ( widout salt or sugar,1 glass made from 4 oranges)
Day 5 & 6:
Milk and milk products
u can also hv ghiya/lockey raita
Note:
all the the things that have not been given limit can be had unlimited.
Have 1 tablet vitamin c after lunch everyday
Take 1tablet of B complex everyday
Have 1 spoon of isabgol every night before you sleep
Have lots and lots of water.
if at one of the days you feel really hungry just have papaya.
have lemon and water in morning
drink loads of water during the day and snack on grapes, oranges and bananas when hungry
then have lunch-soup/or a normal sandwich
try to avoid crisps, but sumtimes its hard so dnt put pressure on urself
for dinner have grilled chicken/fish with boiled vegetables or just salad...dont have roti or anything...and drink more water
im starting this from monday..will marinate chicken and just roast everyday 4 dinner..and if i still dnt lose weight..then....OH WELL i'll just starve myself for the last 2 weeks lol
