Mirpuris are fine. They speak differently and have a different mentality but they’re just like the rest of the Pakistani community. Some good some bad. They are very hospitable people. Very open. Jo did may aiy keh diya 
I don’t get the bassar thing they have with food. But other than that they’re decent.

Different dialect.
Example :
Punjabi - “Ah dekh lo”
Urdu - “Yeh dekhlo”
Mirpuri - “Ah tako”

Punjabis are not the same as mirpuri. In mentality, in dialect, in how they dress, in how they cook. Its all different.

Punjabis aren’t all the same either, Mirpuris are the same Potohari people who are subset of Punjabis, much like Seraikis and Hindkowans, all the dialects are somewhat intelligible between each other and all these people live in the Land of 5 Rivers(Punjab)

Punjabis from Multan up to about pindi are more or less similar, culturally. Can’t talk for the rest.

That is not what I meant. On this forum… whenever someone says things about a specific ethnicity, some members find it almost necessary to ‘bash’ Punjabis (even when Punjabis have nothing to do with what was being said about the other ethnicity).

I am aware the differences as I come from a Pothwari-speaking family from Northern Punjab. I just wondered what you meant when you said they speak differently, as compared to what? Punjabi? Cause Pothwari(=Pahari=Mirpuri) is as far as I know still a dialect of Punjabi.
