Pani kay keera ? We had a family joke if someone took a bath twice in a day we will call him/her pani ka keera.
Most desie in areas where there is shortage of water take bath at least on Friday in preparation of Namaz a Jumma.
How often do you shower or take a bath.
I shower at least once a day or sometimes twice on very hot days when I am working outdoors in the lawn or garden.

My other half has this problem (taking atleast 2 showers a day), and i so i call him a fish

In Urdu there is a kahawat : ya nahla-a da-e ya char bhai.
meaning some people were given a bath by midwife when they were born and now they will be given a bath by four people when they die before burying them.:)

1 shower a day is a must as my eyes won't open without a shower, even when I have to take it with cold water (when hot water is not present).
Then there are times when I take shower twice a day. I have taken a shower when I didn't like my hairstyle.

When the hot water pipe bursts or if there's a leak and the apartment people have to turn off the hot water for the entire building. This happened twice in a week, and you wanna know when? In December :) I took shower with cold water only and went to work at 7 a.m.

^ Hasn't happened with this one :D It was back in 2005 when I was temporarily living in an apartment after our house was damaged due to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. I was lucky that I had found a place to live because there was shortage of apartment (forget good, even the worst ones were taken) and I was just glad to have a place to spend the night. :D
