If you are referring to the link between Walima being Halal & Islam, I was talking from Islamic point of view. I have not come across anything which states that it is a 'must' on the first night OR that the Walima will not be considered halal if nothing is done on first night.
Walima is the celebration of the wedding, not the celebration of the intercourse. It can be done regardless of the later being done or not. Should be done with in 3 days, in order to follow sunnah (the valima, i.e)

Aminas: Walima has nothing to do with intercourse as far as I know. Walima will be Halal, regardless of whether you engage in intercourse the first night or not.

Aashi dnt feel embarrased re ur thread, i think i agree with mr fraudia on this, eben though its personal matter between husband and wife i think few months is a long time by then u shud kinda no each other. but if husband and wife r happy like that then no1 can judge.

well Nothing can stop us ( men) when it comes to sex , so it is kinda Surprising that the lad in scenario hasn’t made a move yet. We can wait a day or two but more then that will be , treatment going on , scenario .
Btw I remember a hadith which says ‘ A man should not discuss such thing openly with others ‘ . what ever happens between a couple is their personal matter , one shouldn’t be interested knowing it .
Therefore it is highly inappropriate to gather around bride and groom very next morning and tease them about their last night .
On same other , it was very naïve of the Aashi to open such thread in a public forum , you wont get many replying seriously , even God forbid , my first post was a mocker.
I say , u should be discussing such things with some one close to you , who understands you better then we guppies . A close friend or elder sister can do the job here .
