Every aira ghaira nathu khera has become a 'praducer' these days. whoever has money wants to make a drama. these private channels have ruined our culture. all they want is money. doesn't matter how.
gone are the days when shareef educated people from good families used to work on television.
unfortunately, our tv industry is going the lollywood way.
i totally agree with you lilly!
Re: Vulgarity in Dramas
hugging and kissing are getting common in dramas too.
Media has ruined our culture, aur director Fahim Burney NKS mein keh raha tha ke logo ko broad-minded hona chaheye....logo ko yeh accept karlena chaheye ke yeh sab haamrey society ka hissa hai...bull**** director!
Re: Vulgarity in Dramas
nice thread. Ali Usman, issue is that people in the Pakistani society have become curious to monkey everything from indian and western programming.
no morals are disallowed in all good cultures and families.
but sadly most people have lost even their taste in presenting and viewing blasse' programs. & thus, good families, men and women cannot be a part to it. but they are also not strong enough to eliminate such programming, beyond not supporting it themselves.
its the people who are party to no morals, who ought to clean up their minds at both the presenting end and the viewing end.
Re: Vulgarity in Dramas
During 1980s and 1990s the dramas were good and with shot with sharafat, but now it is like lolywood film.
Re: Vulgarity in Dramas
ppl like fahim burni (or whatever the name) are neither creative nor have they got any integrity, professional or moral. whats his education ? and btw, we confuse education for the ability to speak in english which is totally false. if education cannot enrich you with the skills and knowledge to think 'out of the box' it is of no use. it's ppl like him who have ruined our media. achay ghaorn ke log ab tv pe kaam karna pasand nahi kartey. it's turning into lollywood.
Re: Vulgarity in Dramas
^agreed......dramas have changed into so-called star plus daily soaps(uff i hate them)
Re: Vulgarity in Dramas
This scene is shocking:eek:
Producers should think…can they watch this with their parents or even the rest of the family? Disgusting!

Re: Vulgarity in Dramas
In the old dramas the beach scence were very nice. There is a sence of joy. like in Unkahi, Tanhaiyan and dhoop kinare. The camera work was also nice and decent. It used to be family gathering.
But now in dramas the beach scence becomes different. Some time the heroine with tight dress role on the sea shore and then man and women come closer etc. and the scene becomes vulger.
Re: Vulgarity in Dramas
whenever muslims have lost their morals values, they have suffered defeat. biggest example is that of lebanon. iran also got very westenized before the revolution (led by khumeni). lagta hai pakistan mein hbi koi aisa banda ayega jo is bathki hui qaum ko suharey ga. I hope uski naubat naa aye aur hum khud hi sudhar jayein.but it seems far-fetched.
Re: Vulgarity in Dramas
I have noticed all this vulgarity started with the influx of private channels.but PTV has still maintained its decency.

True about private channels. PTV has also changed a lot. PTV has changed its policy but even after change it is much better than private channels.
Now you can see dances and mujra on PTV also.
Geo n ARY promote indian culture while Hum promotes western culture

thats really sad. whoever calls this modernization is a moron.

i think prema should make a strict policy, which is according to our culture and not following west blendly.
