Musharraf's Nazim system was the best one. I've read up on this commissioner system and it sucks especially in Karachi. So pretty much Karachiites should prepare themselves for a violent couple of years with no development taking place.

May that Babar animal go to hell. All that hijra did was kill thousands of unarmed innocent Karachiites. You gotta be from Karachi to understand this. While you people in Punjab and NWFP were enjoying off of the 70% revenue Karachi generated for Pakistan, us innocent Karachiites were being killed daily.

Their ancestors were the same people who made Karachi an economic hub. Or else Karachi would still be a small fishing village like Pasni. Pakistan would be in a worse economic condition, instead it would have probably collapsed.

Karachi is an economic hub .. not only cuz of urdu speaking ppl but cuz of every single person who worked hard to bring Karachi where it is standing now .. and yes tht includes sindhi, balochis, EVERYONE! its very unfair and bias to just give the entire credit to your ethnic group, just cuz you belong to tht group!

Why do you think so many Mohajirs came to Karachi?? Because it was already a huge economic hub, mainly due to it's port.
Karachi was an economic centre for South Asia long before 1947.

Karachi should be a separate province as it fulfills all the requirements for being one .....
Anybody who is not a resident by birth or not lived here for over 15 years - should get a temporary working /education/ residency permits .. which will not only help in controlling the unwanted migration but also helps in keep a tab on the terrorists/criminals ... who freely harbor in this city ..
