Re: Very essential question which needs clarification
I closed the thread. I had not even posted in it when I saw where it was headed. And the reason I gave was:
So I was of no particular disposition as you claim. I saw both sides had become overheated and nothing constructive was going to come out of it. And by both sides I mean everyone, moderators and posters alike. Thus there was no need for endless arguments to continue where no one was even willing to look at the others point of view and instead resort to insulting one anothers point of view.
And as far as:
Yes Admins/CM’s/ and mods of particular forum can reply to closed threads, though they don’t. Thi does happen by accident if they receive a notification to a subscribed thread and they go and reply directly from the notification, they are never really aware that the thread has already been closed by the moderator.
Did I wait too long to move it? Yes. That’s on me. But surprie/shock/horror I have had a lot going on in my life and forgot to do it in a timely fashion. We are all trying our best here but some of you guys just like to point out every single mistake that’s made, even if was not on purpose. I’m not getting paid for this, I’m doing this to help things run smoothly, and even that is a thankless job.
And this thread is also turning into a blame game. So everyone look t the things you post. Are you trying to rile stuff up and get a reaction? Do you post things you know makes other people uncomfortable or belittles them? Because i have seen a lot of posters in this thread that have done things like that many times, and i am probably guilty if it myself. Thing is I don’t have an ego issue to apologize for it, but most of you all do because you think there is either nothing wrong with it, or that you believe that you are so right , that any other point of view doesn’t matter. And thus why should you care if you hurt someone else. That’s why I believe civility has been crushed on the internet.
