US troops kill 16-year-old boy for spitting on them
In a dispatch posted at 1:25pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation troops killed a 16-year-old boy
after he spit on an American soldier in ar-Ramadi,
about 110km west of Baghdad.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that 16-year-old Ahmad Munajid ad-Dulaymi cursed a patrol
of American troops as they passed by his house in the al-Mal‘ab area of ar-Ramadi on Saturday and spit in the face
of one of the US troops, witnesses said.
The American soldiers responded by laying into Ahmad, violently beating him for five minutes.
When Ahmad’s mother came out of their house to plead with
the soldiers to leave him alone,
the Americans struck her and bashed her head
and then shot the boy to death before her eyes.
The US troops then hurriedly left the area.
The correspondent reported that rage was boiling in
ar-Ramadi at that hour as news spread of the murder,
and Resistance men flocked in to look at the scene
where the crime took place.

I havent heard about this at all in the Western Media... But if its true, these people will have to pay hard.
Far worse has happened in Iraq so I wouldnt be surprised either.

As disgusting this act of killing is, this incident is only going to make it worse for the forces in the region. However, spitting on one's face is a disgusting act too, the soldier wouldn't have died because of that, but anyone's blood pressure goes high and being soldier and armed death is just too close to avoid, if it were any other army result may not have differed much.
This spitting on the face only goes to show how welcome US/allied forces are in Iraq and things are not going to ease out until complete withdrawal. I bet even after withdrawal there will be deep-rooted hate in Iraqis for what US forces have done over there. And someone is planning to increase number of military in the country, how genius.

If this source can be trusted (their credibility is nill), I hope they will spend some time in the future training boys not to spit in the face of armed soldiers. Maybe they can stop killing elected officials, non combatants and government employees to long enough free up some time to do so.

Salam...If this thread is true then I am sorry but if a pack of men beat up on any 16 year I know for spitting in a face...never mind kill him!

Soldiers the world over seem to become tyrants once let loose with a gun. Deeply sad, deeply offended.
Who actually respects the sanctity of life anymore???? :-(

definitely sad.. but a 16-yr-old should hav the mind to know what he's doing.. iraqis should at once admit that they're a defeated country before they take any personal action against

Hopefully if true, appropriate punishment will be meted out.

I check in occasionally, but didn’t find a thread on those who were killed for even less than spitting in the face of an armed soldier.
These poor ones were simply breathing (and being shiite). And there are 34,000 other victims of the sectarian death merchants (not U.S. collateral damage)
This is the real and continuing shame of the conflict. Once these perps are eliminated, Iraqis will have a chance to live normally.
When the murderous “insurgents” are marginalized locally and condemned internationally, then the bulk of suffering in Iraq will greatly diminish. Then there will be fewer and fewer U.S. soldiers there to be spat upon.
