The judge is going to base this on the facts. The facts will be presented by the Police. The facts say that these two on the bike were criminals, they had weapons. What conclusion would the Judge draw, regardless of whether it was me or someone else. And if they were shot in the back, that means nothing either. How do we know they didnt speed up and try to get ahead of the car to shoot at the wind shield? Judge will have to go by facts. Facts say this guy is probably innocent. I dont know which details your refering to beyond these.
Those are statements not facts...
We all now the quality of many a Pakistani police report.
So lets call things what they are and stop making assumptions.
The American shot three people. Fact.
He was armed when he should not have been.... Fact.
He got out of the car to make the shots... Fact.
He killed one completely innocent bystander... Fact.
One of his victims was a supposedly well known pugilist... however that person was on his way to court and was known to have had dealings with his killer.... Fact.
One of the other victims was also allegedly involved in criminality this has not yet been proved.... Fact.
Theres more to this case than we think.... Fact.
We are both arguing like bald men over a comb.... Fact.
Well, Pakistan did sign the convention.
firstly, i did say that Pak should NOT to **obey that...i said it must be changed. secondly, america signed too, but why did they try a russian diplomat, in the US Courts, who killed a pedestrian in washington some years ago? why didn't they let him his immunity and allowed to go home?
u did NOT tell me about status of those americans? they were NOT diplomats as i've heard.**
Re: US calls for immediate release of diplomat in Pakistan
Well thats why he is under arrest. But people are condemning him unjustly even before the evidence is presented.
But all things considered, the fact weigh in his favor. These two were criminals, they had just robbed someone the same day, they were carrying weapons on them.
Even if they were criminals, shooting them in the back, with 11 shots fired, doesnt seem like just self defence to me. We shall find out.
Re: US calls for immediate release of diplomat in Pakistan
In this case the gov't of punjab should apply the american concept of justice whereby innocent muslims are tried, convicted and sentenced on the basis of secret evidence that only the prosecutor and the judge can see and accused and his/her lawyers have no access to...

I havent read anything about him getting out of his car to execute them, nor that they were headed to courts. Dawn and BBC news which I quoted states that according to police, atleast one is known criminal that was in the possession of a weapon, that he is suspected of commiting a crime that very day, and was even in possesion of stolen items.
The bystander who was killed was killed by another consulate car that apparently came to assist him.
Brainwashed what. Your the one supporting this woman without even knowing the details of what happned. You weren’t in the room. You can lead ISAF soldiers to hell and back if you want, but how do you know the circumstances of interogation?
She didn’t wrestle anyone, she tried to grab a weapon, thats all. And failed miserably.
Perhaps, had you been in her head to tell her what futile attempt it would be, she would have been smart and not tried it.
Is it so hard to believe that one of the soldiers had an unsecured weapon, was distracted momentarily, and gave her an opportunity to try something? Is that something so unbelievable? Its a security lapse, it happens.\
Read through this partial transcript of the court preceedings and judge for yourself.
Re: US calls for immediate release of diplomat in Pakistan
Punjab Govt refuses to release the accused to the US despite pressure.
LAHORE: US diplomat to Pakistan Cameron Minter late Saturday ringed Quaid Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Mian Mohammed Nawaz Sharif and shared with him his feelings imbibed with utter grief and sorrow over Lahore incident wherein two Pakistani men were shot dead by a US consulate official and another man was trampled to death by a US consulate car, Geo News reported.
During the telephonic conversation, Cameron urged Nawaz Sharif that Pakistani government should give US consulate worker, Raymond Davis, under US custody because Davis possesses immunity under diplomatic relations being an employee of US consulate.
Upon this, Mian Nawaz, declining US envoy’s demand, replied that loss of three precious lives of Pakistani citizens had deeply hurt entire nation, adding that only court could come up with ultimate judgment on the issue.
“I can do nothing as the matter is currently being heard in court,” Nawaz concluded.**

**
this is what i exactly said in my post #142…americans have double standard always whenever it comes to american vs someone else. they seem to get away with it.**
Notice how your statement is changing? First you said she grabbed a weapon and shot at two soldiers. Then she grabbed a weapon and attempted to shoot. Now she attempted to grab a weapon. You have no idea what the story is, your concept of what happens changes every time you post.
And yes it is unbelievable considering the standard of these guys.
Re: US calls for immediate release of diplomat in Pakistan
He looks so confident.
This guy must never be released and must be tried in the court of law. Being a US diplomat he is not superior. I just read in newspaper that he is threatening the investigation officers.
