Amin for the dua for the SIL... and though i am not really gona get into the whole issue ( as it seems to be much better).. but all i was thinking abt while reading these three pages of threads was.. has ne one tried putting themselves in the SIL's shoes.. ( not trying to be mean). but here is a lady who basically got her life messed up.. she needs constant assurance from the ppl she has left.. yeah i do understand that letting her take advantage of every thing will teach her to live it lightly.... but still.. more than being angry i was scared.. reading this story.. chameli u are mashallah happily married..And may u always stay that way... Allah SWT has given u the means to be helpful to some one so near to ur hubby.. make the best use of the opportunity (take things litely.. try not getting paranoid)... u never kno that she is actually really Proud of u for taking care of her kid.. ( and if not i am sure One day Allah Swt is gona reward u .. thats His promise) and u are making that kid love u as it is.. .. be happy yaar.. chill. its just a kid.. make it a game. have fun with him.. if i were u i would take take this opportunity and welcome the little change.. and Have fun:D.. im sorry i sed htings about ur SIL...but i was lookin at it negatively but reading this has made me realise u need to be patient and be helpful at all times....thats y v r here as women to be helpful towards needy and do dua for our husbands and all the men in the house....its becuase of the womans duaain that u get burkut in the house....:)

Dont worry. ur SILs are not automatically evil ppl just cuz they are ur SILs. just make sure to show them respect and also to set some reasonable limits so everybody can interact within the limits of respect

hahaha so nu think cuz u say it to ur bhabi whom u have a good relationship to, then all the other women who says that to their bhabis must be joking too...
when this was said to me we werent even engaged and it was said in a context that wasnt really joking or making fun....
It amazes me how ppl in here react according to their own experiences only. It would actually be nice to try to see things from another perspective as well.
and btw I dont think its a fun thing to say to ur bhabi that u wud look for 2nd wife to ur bro if she is new into ur family.
its different if u guys have known each other for ages and she knows u well enough to laugh at this weird joke !!

well there is a difference between men and women but I guess that even men would have limits regarding stuff that can said/done to them
maybe we women are more sensitive than men...but thats just the way it is....
