Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
I was expecting a little more from today's episode but looks like they'll drag this drama OUTTTTTTTTT!
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
its going awfulllyyyyyyy slow! I just fast forwarded through the episode. It's kind of getting boring, for some reason, I am just not interested in the flashbacks as much.
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
its tooooooo slowwwwww.....
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
I was hoping that'd tell us the reason behing Aisha's dead silence for 14 years. But no, they had to drag it...
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
yep, super boring episode.
btw, noor is getting beyond out-of-hand in terms of her batameezi....dimagh tikanay pe le ana chayeh iska.
agar baba coffee leh aye hai tau chup chap pi kar chali jao if your not in the mood to chat....takreer karnay ki kya zaroorat hai?
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
agreed, super boring episode, but i love noor's scenes, she is justified in thinking that the father is just using them now that his other wife is dead! where was all this pyar before she needed it growing up
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
Had stopped watching this long ago and tried to starting it again, but found it pretty torturous and unrealistic. I really don't even care what unmentionable crime she committed that supposedly made her this way. slept with someone? murdered someone? BOO HOOO. I mean seriously, ppl lose their parents and children but don't have the kind of 90 degree personality switch that swera nadeem does.
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
it is wrong and [pakistani mentality] to brush off noor's behavior as batameez. she is the only good part of the drama these days.

I agree! She's got 14 years of hatred built into her. It won't just disappear over dinner and coffee.
The acting is really good so I am blackmailed into watching this via Fast forwarding thru the episodes.

that is unacceptable in Pakistani society....especially for a married woman.
Infedelity is wrong no matter who does it, but na-kabil-e-bardasht if a woman does it.

Still, he is her father and she must have some lehaaz. Jumping all over him every time he tries to have a conversation is not the right approch.

I am not arguing about what's acceptable or not acceptable by society. All I am saying is that people get over the most unimaginable grievances and sufferings, because human's are designed to move on!! Otherwise no one would be able to survive any pain or suffering. The drama is unrealistic and against human nature.
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
I am lagging behind. Are Noor and her mother in U.K. or was it just noor who went with her father or are they all still in Pakistan?

i dont think so.... most ppl dont move on.... some keep a grudge all their life..... it is not easy for all to move on, especially if hurt by someone they expected so much. ..... she never had the fatherly love she wanted, the money he sent to "them" never got to them. rest of the family keeps saying stuff to them, everytime they see her or her mother. are not really small things. ( but ya her crossing out pics in farhan's room was a bit over the board, but its real, it happens! )
I think Moiz should now sit and connect all the dots and see why noor is like that, like someone above said she has 14 years of hatred, pure hatred built in her. it will take time to get rid of it. moving on is the not a solution, realizing what actually happened and is happening is a solution. and blaming ayesha for everything is wrong too.... i mean if he suffered in UK.... I think she wasnt having bak in pak! :S
but i agree... this episode was super slow.... but it showed the other side..... Moiz's side...... lets see agye kya hota hai
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
This question is to those who have read the novel or know the story: i was wondering if ayesha actually cheated on moiz and did what moiz is claiming or was it just a misconception? can somene plz clear this up
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
solid episode today.
got a little teary eyed when ayesha said, ''issay ziyada pasandida cheez chorni pari'' when talking of coffee.
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
the coffee scene was good otherwise a very slow episode. Next epi doesn't look all that either w/ Suneeta's entry.

errr I wasn't talking about his daughter.. she obviously (and right fully) has daddy issues. I am talking about the zombie that is savera nadeem
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
the kitchen scene where they both looked at each other...was well-done ...and a turning point i think!
