i disagree. mehwish is talented....

her only masla seems to be that she doesn't appear humble.....too much sho sha in her morning show interviews.

and i can't for one second believe that she is 21 (ie. born in 1989).

^^ yeah I haven't seen a full interview of her but she comes across as fake.

Samia Mumtaz did something similar (sort of) in MZZB and she was also doing Haal-e-dil for Baber so she probably would have declined doing this one even if they had asked her.

Today's episode was on the slow side. They had an editing booboo when they showed Farhan and Moiz taking out the luggage twice. The scene at the end when Ayesha gives Amma jan her glasses was well done. When I see these scenes, I think BJ is learning the nuances of proper drama direction but he's still got a long way to go.

Farhan's tricks in this episode made me smile a few times :) He's definitely got his parents' acting genes.

i saw her in Daam-e-muhabbat and her acting was extremely poor. then in Thori si wafa chahiay, again all she did was yelling n making faces and lot of skin showing. well evn if u r doing an evil step mother she was over doing it. but she was yelling with even her mom n dad too. i developed a dislike for her ever since. havn't seen her on talk show though.

dramay main. i was saying she yelled whole time in the series (at her stepkids n her own parents) so we can't say it was really a demand of her stepmom role. thats all she's good at

not this week due to Ashoora. Looks like the whole of next episode will be a flashback which is quite a bore.

Yesterday's episode proved that Umera is the best drama writer. The sawera's scenes for distributing sweets and 22 jode in a year were well written and executed.

i agree, it was a very disturbing scene where she and her daughter are made to distribute mithai to the neighbours for the husband's new son, the flashbacks are very well directed, well placed and to the point, explaining the 360 transformation sawera's character has gone through so effectively without unnecessary ramblings. i wish she would just yell and shout at him for being such a liar and a hypocrite but her expressions say it all so much better. also loved the scene where faisal feels so damn miserable after seeing her 5 shabby joras that she calls her wardrobe when she had been a clotheshorse earlier and he had promised her the moon.

Thankfully the flashbacks are well placed and don't just randomly appear to take up space. It is great to see the HUGE difference between Moiz and Ayesha now considering the fact that people probably thought of them as the "ideal" couple when they were first married. It is scary to think how things can change between two people so significantly. The dialogues are very well written despite the goof up of showing Turkey's airport and then telling us that they live in London (LOL)
The 4 main leads are doing such a great job with their characters :) The tension between Moiz and Ayesha in the bedroom could be truly felt. Great chemistry.

Moiz cant imagine in million years what his first wife (ayesha) went through...honestly that distributing mithai scene made my heart cry. this drama constantly telling me how brutally insensitive we become that we start treating human worse than animals.

yeah let's see what other things the MIL has cooking up her sleeves.
The next epi where Moiz is blaming Ayesha for Noor's inconsiderate behavior looks to be pretty powerful.
