i LOVED it. i seriously did. i didn't even like meri zaat...from the first episode but i just ♥ this one. here are the few flaws that i think shouldn't have been there....but oh well.. 1, the director. it shouldn't have been baber javed......as usual this drama looks way over dramatized. ** 2, sawera nadeem's blank stares look more surprised than completely blank (i hope you know what i mean) 3, as everyone already pointed out, faisal qureshi is not really acting well in this drama. it looks like he is trying to copy his own character from meri zaat...and *he is just not acting as well as meri zaat either. * 4, **neelam munir, sawera nadeem, and saba perviaz is definitly rocking this drama. i really liked their acting.
sooo....after daam, i guess i have found a new love :D i just hope baber javaid doesn't ruin it much.
Agreed on those points. I don't know Neelum Munir so she's new to me and she has impressed me with the first episode. Good choice!
I think Savera is a good choice too because if you look at the current lot, there are not many who can do some serious acting without overacting.
I think guys like Mohib should be given a chance to show some acting chops in these types of plays.
I have a feeling Baber is going to end up ruining this one for us once again. I hope he doesn't but knowing his past work I have very little hope. Even in the 1st episode, there were too many "musical solitary shots" of the actors which were unnecessary. It made me think of how beautifully Mehreen had shot Daam without succumbing to melodrama and those long pointless shots of people "thinking" .... ughhh....
Looking forward to seeing the interaction between Ayesha and Faisal's character and Noor and Faisal's character. Those should be good to watch.

I really liked the first episode, but I agree with some others regarding Faisal's over acting and copying MZZB a tad too much - he's over doing the serious part now :-p

although i really like faisal.q, i agree with the rest that he wasn't a good choice for this role here. since he played a very similar character in mzzbn, his character and the story itself will keep sounding repetitive...the new girl neelam munir, savera and saba pervaiz are excellent picks though for the roles. overall i like it, seems to have a good story.

i just saw the first episode...and I get the feeling the story is similar to MZZB? just seeing faisal qureshi in that same mood reminds me of MZZB...WHY HIM??? why can't baber cast somebody else in his dramas besides him? gosh so sick and tired of seeing him. He really needs to take a break. The first episode felt like a drag...too many flashbacks and too much overacting...and crying the whole time. and the music in the background was annoying the crap out of me. I think baber has just about ruined this one already!

hm...ok episode. i mean crazy amounts of similarities to MZZB. they shouldnt try to recreate it. But still, it wasn't bad...im looking forward to it.
but...the settings, characters (like literally) are mostly the same!!!

i guess i am the only one who loved the first episode. and i didn't mind the flash backs, because it wasn't something we had already seen like "daam" they were helping us in understanding the characters.
even though there are obvious similarities of MZZBN, but i still think it is going to be very different, and i will love it. maybe the only reason we are noticing the similarities is because faisal qureshi, if instead of him, fahad mustafa was doing that role, we wouldn't have felt that way. (i am saying fahad mustafa, only as an example, i do not think he would have been a good choice for that character either)

i actually dont mind faisal qureshi..i can see him in the role...and it's only the first episode, it will take time for us to understand the characters and not make comparisons..

he isn't that bad. tere pehlu mai just being out the worse actor in people, but imran urooj is actually pretty good. i just finished watching his drama din dhalay, which is very good.

i am so glad to find another din dhalay fan. because of the whole "chaka choond" of channel advertised drama those gems like "din dhalay", and "teri aik nazr" goes un-noticed, which are actually A LOT better than some of those very expensive, and highly advertised crap they call drama.
