Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
my fav scene was where Farhan asks about the birthdays. they both acted so well, touched my heart.

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
nothing much happened this week - as per usual - they are really dragging this one to no end!
Re: Umera Ahmed’s “Qaid e Tanhai”
^ Exactly
How friggin annoying!
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
a very slow drama
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
Uff this drama is sooo slow!!! I was proper annoyed when they dragged it on this last episode everything was good until now! a bulk of the scenes should have been cut out its getting really repetitive. so much to where i'm not enjoying it anymore but I want really know the end. I guess Ill be reading it on here don't have that much patience to watch! tsk tsk!
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
OMG What an episode and what an acting by Faisal and Sawera im speechless.
Umera's dialogues were excellent as usual.
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
great dialogs by Umera but wasted by BJ's long withdrawn episode. I had to forward thru 90% of it.
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
epi 20 is uploaded? i can't find it
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
I watched the first few episodes, but it seemed to be dragging and there was a lot of mystery about her past. May be I'll get into it after a while but for me it seemed similar to MZZB with the main girl being mazloom and faisal being the main guy once again.
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
i think what will happen is that jawad will get cold feet, hence he backs out and since the cat is out of the bag for ayesha, she will end up taking all the blame.
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
^
yea thats what will happen:)
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
She was just frustrated, she was never even interested in Jawad, she just missed her husband and when she talked to him "kya tum mujhe chor dey gay" And he siad yes then that was for her.Well Faisal was real mean to her scolding, yelling ,fighting all the time, drama is slow and sad.But the question is will this situation ever get cleared?

EXACTLY!!! she wasn't in love with Jawad, but realized that her husband felt no association with her and might leave her any time. In addition, her daugther thinks that Jawad uncle is her dad. She can see that with Jawad she could have the happy family life and secure future that she currently doesn't have. Poor woman
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
How can Moiz be like yes I can give you tallaq and then come to Pakistan and be like Ashoo this Ashoo that - WTH?? I guess it just shows that men really don't think from their heads....
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
I haven't watched the drama since the beginning I just started watching it. May be what the lady is doing is a gunnah in the eyes of people. But when you put yourself in her shoes you will realise that what she must be going through , she has not seen her husband in 4 years , her inlaws make her work like a maid , her daughter does not recognise her own father , for everything that a husband and a father has to do that guy Jawad is doing. I mean what is really in her life ? Any woman would get frustrated. No body gets married to stay away from his/her spouse and her husband planned to move abroad without even taking her consent eh just informed her and it was something she never ever anticipated before she married him.
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
^ i agree! he hasn't visited in 4 yrs and when he does call his wife once in a while, all he does is yell at her and threaten divorce over stupid things and make her even more miserable than she is in that house...what kind of a marriage is that? she is not in love with jawad or never has an affair with him, she just wants out of a very unhappy situation when he offers her a normal life, on top of that the husband's friend comes and tells her what the hubby is really up to with a girl, and how he is obsessed with her, i think that was the breaking point with her, in her eyes its over.
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
Wonderful drama.
Shed light on family dynamics (or family issues) when Man is not with the family for extended period JUST to earn some money.
beside others, awesome acting by Saba Pervaiz and Sawaira Nadeem.

completely agree!
when I don't see my husband for more than a couple of hours a day because he is working some crazy hours for a few weeks or a month, I go cuckoo lol I can't even imagine living like a single mom for 4 years and getting not even a few nice words to hear from people around me. What a miserable life that would be. Ayesha is very strong to not be on the verge of insanity at this point or even post all this drama. After next week's episode, we can now see why she turned into a complete robot. No wonder her scenes with Farhan are so touching :) He makes her feel like a human again like that loser Jawad tried to do.
Ah only if that BJ hadn't directed this, it would have been so much more meaningful!

Saba Pervaiz has gotten better. Initially I think she was trying to find her bearing because this role is fairly outside her element.
On another note, I believe this is the first time I've seen a story written from a wife's POV when the husband leaves. Most stories revolve around the parents of the son who leaves for another country to earn money.
Re: Umera Ahmed's "Qaid e Tanhai"
Where is episode 19? on YouTube it only has a preview...
