Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

Great play. I am hoping it wl be out in cds soon cuz i have only watched few episodes but luvd it. Samia was fab and faisal qureshi also did very well.

Ok, I have loved this drama and I tried so hard to watch this last epi but I cant get myself to finish it! It is so incredibly boring. Why did they have to make it so slow-paced? I have read the ending of this novel and it is much much better. I really wonder why Umera Ahmed would feel the need to change it.

I have to finish it though. Maybe I’ll just skip all the incredibly mind numbing scenes.

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

saba's nd faisal and his mom's acting waas THE best out of the bunch!

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

Haven't seen the last episode. The drama started dragging immensely when it came back to the future. I am guessing there was not much left to be covered in the last epi.

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

same here... yet to watch last epi

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

^ i jsut like the last scene

the rest iis..yawn...n ofcourse i love sabas scenes.

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

The last episode was boring - that being said, I did like the scene between Haider and Aarfeen where Haider reminded his father that he shared responsibility for everyone's sad fate - and it wasn't just on his parents for their actions. Where, instead of divorcing Saba, he could have forgiven her. I loved how he said that insaan Khuda sai to maafi ki umeed rakhta hai, lekin aik insaan doosray insaan ko maaf karnay kai liyay kyun peechay hat jaata hai.

Overall, one of the best dramas I've watched in years!

This truly is THE best line of the entire series. The most profound thing I have heard in a while! :k:

in the novel, last scene was like she sara was fasting and went to the bazaar to get Iftari for herself and it was in the longest time she spend money on sometime that apart from basic necessities.

she also had flashes of last ramadan when her mother, saba was alive.

when she came back home haider was waiting for her. haider said to her the same dialogues (i think) that we shown in the drama, but he also mentioned that i spent my entire monthly pay in finding you. whereas in the drama they are shown as some rich people.

and when they were leaving the house holding hands, some chachaoray larkay commented that "titanic k hero or heroine ja rahay hain...or something similar to it".

novel is so beautifully written.

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

i think they are shown rich people in the novel too. Also, in the novel, arfeen was married to some french woman who i guess passed away...

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

can someone plez write what happened in the last episode

Outcome of the serial… yes in the native and novel language:

and dat woman became muslim and she was tooo gud.... as compare to drama...

overall an educational woman avoids to do such acts, but unfortunately sometimes it does not happen in any case...

thats the point where the difference between a common human and a super human starts

ofcourse the books are always better. i wish theyd shown those scenes..
