As a huge Pak drama fan, love this forum, what wonderful topics. everytime I google a drama it directs me here hehe good to know I am not the only junooni. ok so recently on youtube I came across this promo which looks wonderful, so I thought I share it here.

Its an upcoming serial by Geo and Humayun Saeed productions, **“Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan” **based on Umera Ahmed’s bestselling novel. Cast includes Faisal Qureishi, Samia Mumtaz (newsih face) Imran Abbas, Sarwat Gillani, Adnan Siddiqui, Samina Peerzada, Mehreen Raheel etc

Here’s the beautifully sung OST by Rahat Fateh Ali and its 10 min promo which kinda gives away the whole story hehe but still looks good! can’t wait to see it.

from the promo it doesnt look like these two are playing major roles, the girl in the lead seems like a good choice.

Sarwat Gillani is annoying but I kind of like Mehreen Raheel though she can’t act either :vivo:

I cant wait to watch this drama when will it start? The novel is amazing so i hope the drama is good aswell.
The girl in leading role seems to be newcomer and already now it seems she is a good actress...

YAYEEE!!! thank you DramayBazz for posting this. I was wondering which channel was going to air this since Humayun had mentioned he was producing this and then Faisal had mentioned that he was in it directed by Babar Javed. Let's Hope it comes on Geo soon!!

Samia was in Dil-e-Nadan and that was the first time I have seen her. I was googling her and it looks like she comes from stage and has been around for awhile but probably has never done TV (my guess). Eventhough DeD was fairly disappointing, her role was really good. I am SO GLAD they are having her play the major character and not some champu 20 year old newcomer.
Sarwat Gilani is playing her daughter and she has a pretty small role. Same goes for Imran Abbas, playing Faisal Qureshi's son, will have a small role as well. The story revolves around Samia's character and it looks like they have given Faisal a bigger role as well.

Let's hope it starts soon! Wonder why such a long "promo" which seems quite unnecessary since it is a VERY POPULAR novel by Umera Ahmed.

Is this the same Umaira Ahmed who writes in women's magazines Khawateen Digest, Pakeeza, etc.? (don't ask me how I know). She's pretty good.

i just need a little help guys..im sure ive read this novel too by umaira ahmed but i cant remember the storyline .. can any1 tell me what it is ?

i REAALLY wish they make a serial on 'imaan umeed aur mohabbat' has any1 read that ?

I've read one novel by her "jo chalay to jaan say guzar gaye", it was really sad.
