Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

can't believe its finished :( :(... was such a touching drama- highlight of my week!...great acting by saba arfeen and tayi ama- hats off 2 them

does anyone know any other drama's which are good and along the same lines as MZZB???

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

^^ you might like Wujood-e-Laraib and Lahaasil.
Warning on Lahaasil - Angeline Malik played the main character since she was the director as well and IMO didn't do a good job of it.

i liked it very much.

My feelings exactly! The first half of the episode was dreadfully boring. The scene between the father and son was indeed very well done and very much needed. My ami was like ok if that's all it was going to bring her back why did they stretch it so much so I think they could have done that scene differently. Overall a good watch.

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

@ Rukhsarbibi thank you :) I'm going to start watching Noor Bano of Imran Abbas but yeah I'll start Lahaasil too... x

  1. script tau mujhe baad main mili thi… pehle mujhe umera ka fone aaya tha … un ko laga tha ke I was suit for the role

  2. babar ke sath detail meetings aur umera ke sath fone pe lambi calls ke baad mujhe lagne laga tha ke ab main waqai saba ban gayi hoon

  3. sarwat mujhe bilkul follow ker rahi thi… mere gestures mere baal and everything ke mujhe ap ki beti ka role kerna hai tau main ap ki trah lagoon

  4. jab babar ne mujhe script bheja tau mujhe lag raha tha ke main ye kar nahi sakoon gi.. bohat intense role tha.. challenging tha

  5. jab main ye role kar rahi thi tau meri body language normal life se bilkul different thi.. main bohat kam logon se interact ker rahi thi

  6. kuch scenes main pata hi nahi chalta tha ke reality kahan hai aur fiction kahan hai…

  1. is serial ko kerne ka maqsad ye tha ke log is ko dekh ke sabaq hasil karen aur toba karen ke woh ye guna kisi qeemat pe nahi karen gey

  2. jab hum is ki editing dekhte thay tau hamare rongte khare ho jate thay

samia se zyada is character ko koi khubsurti se nahi ker sakta tha

Though it was a novel and the writer had to prolong the story by keeping the victim alive until the revealing of truth (for others), but I was wondering what if the victim would died before that? In such a REAL case, none of them is able to apologize from the victim, which results into a complete helplessness and even more guilt for them. But perhaps the writer wanted to show the readers both parties facing each other, presenting the victim as a great person and concluding few worth lessons out of the whole scenario.

she's the best writer

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

I heard a lot about MZZBN...finally got a chance to watch all of it. A very nice drama indeed though not best or excellent excellent but yes pretty good.

it started off with a nice start but then it became kinda slow but got its track back on adil and sara's engagement...then again became kinda slow towards the end.

everyone acted well.....

samina-her acting was top class...espcially those scenes where guilt starts to bother her and she literally does mad talking thinking about allah ka azaab.

khayam sarhaddi-again great

faisal qureshi-his role was pretty similar to what he has done before but even then it didnot bore me...he played both young and old versions very nicley.

samia mumtaz...she was good but not excellent i would have chosen someone else for this role coz samia already had this sad look on her face before all that happened to her...nevertheless she was not a disappointment.

i liked mehreen raheel's acting too. (but she needs to work on her body and she is a pretty girl but looked far from that in this drama otherwise good acting.

i would have loved if the ending was different for example like sara decides to come back to adil..and adil and aarfeen are really happy but sara dies in a fatal accident leaving aarfeen and adil way toooo depressed....but the drama has ended and positive endings do look good aswell so here it was nice too.

overall it was a nice enjoyable drama and i will sure recommend it....ppl should watch it atleast once

(i just noticed some similarities btw mzzbn and mano o salwa obviously coz its the same director and the same writer)

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

extremely emotional & exaggerated, but wonderfully done
