The way I understood it was...American aid will be withheld from countries that are oppressive towards gays (a very respectable policy). Funny to see people in the maadurland spinning it as "U.S. to use foriegn aid to promote homsexuality in muslim lands!!!"
That's the idea behind foreign aid. The donor country attempts to influence the behavior of the recipient. If you don't like it, turn down the money brahski.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you disliked being forced to do anything. I have misjudged you, champion of freedom. How dare I force you to live according to my standards morality!? You should be free to set your own standards. It's your life, not mine.
Just in case you can't detect my obvious sarcasm, I'm calling you out for being a hypocrite who would force other people to do what he wants, but cry foul when perceived force is used against him. I say perceived, because voluntarily accepted aid is far from force, unlike the actual physical and legal force used against gays in Pakistan.

What people do behind their four walls and how they live, as long as it does not include killing, raping etc., I don't care.
If you want to be a gay behind your four walls, I don't give a tiny rats a$$ about that.
But if you want to legalize it, sorry, I am completely against that. Per constitution we are an Islamic country, we do not want outright Sharia in our country, but we also do not want any law which totally goes against our religion.
India, however at least on paper, is a secular country and no one is stopping her to legalize homosexuality. Go and campaign it there.
If it is legalized, where are you gonna stop then?
What if tomorrow someone else comes with an idea that he be allowed to have sex with cats, dogs and God knows what, and Govt. should legalize it?

This forum is abt expressing individual opinion. As an individual, i support gay rights, women's rights, minorities (muslims included)rights. As a US citizen, I vote in favor of all these rights. Unlike you, who would vote for muslim's rights but against gay rights.

Pakistan per constitution is an Islamic country and our constitution guarantees rights for minorities, women etc.
Religious freedom for all our citizens ===> a big big YES.
People doing absurd stuff at home, which does not include killing, raping etc. ===> I don't care!
Legalizing absurd things such as homosexuality, sex with animals and so on in Pakistan ===> a big big NO!

Achterbahn, Pakistan was supposed to be a secular country, until it was illegally changed to a theocracy after a military coup.
Also, but if it's illegal, you can be criminalized for doing those things "behind 4 walls." That's like saying gays have rights, but they can be put in jail for those rights. Your views are inconsistent.

This is an open forum where one can express one's opinion. You have every right to express an opinion as to where I should start a "campaign" on this issue.
I did not come to this forum to campaign on anything. This is the only forum I am a member of. So save your thoughts on where I should initiate my campaign. Stick to logic, and once in a while if your logic is flawed, admit it - it is OK
