Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

Hello everyone...

I have been so out of touch lately, i hardly login aaj kal. Its been almost 3 months that i am in Pakistan and loving every bit of it. Going back on 4th inshAllah. Hubby dint accompany me, it was a total vacation lol. Now cant wait to see him and i am missing my siblings and parents already. The feelings get so strange once you are married, you want to be with your husband, yet you miss your family and want to be with them at the same time and vice versa sigh

Ok i forgot its not a blog entry lol. Praying for all of you and Sheal helllloooooo waves her hand ..you know that you have to include me in the list right? :)

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

Salatul Haja is simple. Make a fresh Wudu with an intent for this prayer and make it well, then pray two rakaat prayer, reading whatever you like (some prefer the Kaferoon in first, and the Ikhlas in the second). After you finish, make a good tasbeeh "Subhan Allah" and Hamd "AlHamdolellah" and Takbeer "Allaho Akbar" and of course a good salat and praise on the prophet -pbuh-, then lift your hands in supplication and say the following:

La ilaha ilAllahul Halimul Karim. SubhanAllahi Rabbil 'rshil adheem. Alhamdulilahi Rabbil 'alameen. As'aluka mujibaati rahmatik. Wa aza'ima magh-firatik. Wal ghanimata min kulli birr. Was salamata min kuuli ithm. La tada' li dhamban illa ghafartah. Wa la hamman illa far-rajtah. Wa la hajatan hiya laka ridan illa qadaytaha. Ya arhamar rahimin.

"There there no god but Allah the Clement and Wise. There is no god but Allah the High and Mighty. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Tremendous Throne. All praise is to Allah, Lord of the worlds. I ask you (O Allah) everything that leads to your mercy, and your tremendous forgiveness, enrichment in all good, and freedom from all sin. Do not leave a sin of mine (O Allah), except that you forgive it, nor any concern except that you create for it an opening, nor any need in which there is your good pleasure except that you fulfill it, O Most Merciful!"

And then mention your need and desire (Haja), and add whatever supplications you like after that. You can use the duaa mentioned in my post above.

As for Umammar post, the quran verses are the verses that say if you make Isteghfar God will forgive your sins insha Allah and provide you with money and children. The verses themselves aren't a Duaa, but the gist of it is that you need to make isteghfar a lot, along with Hamd. Here are a few good ones:

The master of Istighfar:

O Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.

Hi girls,

I'm not a regular poster but a very keen follower on this particular thread. Struggling with conceiving for 1.5 years. History of PCOS - would love for you to put me in the list for dua's - will inshallah pray for those girls also that are struggling.

Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

All u ttc at what point did u guys go to a dr. After how long did u think this is the time to consult?

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

hey there am i a doctor ... would love to help all of you ttc ladies .. i havent read the whole thread but have read only few posts

i know ttc and not being able to must be the most difficult phase of your life ... but trust me dont stress yourself too much as this will give more harm than good ... just have faith in Allah and trying to maintain a positive attitude definitely helps

HEALTH of both men and women matters the most

Lose weight if you’re overweight, make smart food choices and exercise regularly — these lifestyle factors may help you become more fertile if you’re experiencing problems with ovulation
Just relax and enjoy it, cause if you start super planning every little thing you'll stress yourself out.. just let nature take its course.
Consult your gynaecologist about the sex positions as well , they help alot in conceiving as well

lots of dua's for all you lovely ladies out there ...
ALLAH will bless you alll in this blessfull month ..inshaALLAH dont lose hope :)

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 14 years old and experienced irregular periods, very long cycles and when I would start my period it would not want to stop!! I was told by the doctors that I would have trouble conceiving and maybe more prone to miscarriages but told not to worry about it right now. They popped me on BCP too regulate my cycles, which did help but obviously does not cure. Well, fast forward 13 to 14 years, I got married in March 2011, hubby knew about my problems and still wanted to wait before trying. So we used other methods besides BCP to stop me falling pregnant. Three months in, we reviewed my situation again as hubby and wife and decided we should try incase mother nature is not on our side. We have struggled ever since. Periods are non existent, when they pop up they stay for ages. Questioning me avtually ever even ovulating!! We have been to docs but they are delaying things as much as possible I believe!!

I have had an internal and over the tummy ultrasound, which both have indicated PCOS ( I already know duh! - nothing new there). Hubby has had his sperm analysis done, and everything is normal shukar alhumdollilah. Now we are going to PUSH the docs to forward us on to a fertility specialist to try out clomid and other fertility methods. Hopefully they won't long this process out otherwise we will opt for private healthcare.

Please do remember me in your Duas. As much as I have always been prepared for the struggle that was to come with infertility, I don't think I had anticipated how much pain, emotional trauma and pressure it can actually give to a person both mentally and physically! Luckily husband is very supportive. That's all you need. Your husband/partners sahara, and with the grace of god I believe anything is possible! Lots of love and baby dust to my fellow pcos strugglers - hang in there - this roller coaster has to stop at some point right!? X

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

My husband and I are not trying for kids just yet as we are not financially settled enough to afford a kid. However, I've been experiencing some irregularity in my periods lately. I thought this was due to my BC because I was on the Ring but only for a couple of weeks and stopped as I couldnt adjust to it. The last period I had was more than 2 months ago. Im not pregnant as I took a test at the doctor's office and they put me back on BC to regulate my cycle. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Im worried if I might have a cyst? I know we can't afford kids right now but part of me wants to just start trying just in case something is wrong. Any comments would be appreciated and sorry if this posted in the wrong spot. Thanks in advance!

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

my friend had pcos, everything going against her, age ..weight...pcos etc

concieved first night and that too when fertility is low in the cycle

she read surah al kawther in every salaat and drank nettle tea and took b100 complex

ladies who have no periods pls take starflower oil or some natural herbs like saw palmetto which is very good for pcos esp testosterone issues
