yelling & fighting is not part of married life, arguing with respect is, period.
but i am a guy and if i am working my ass off to put food on the table i need a bit of appreciation and also if i vent some time definitely because of work stress or other issues. forgive, and again forgive.
most of the times ladies on GS just amazed me by their logic oh my husband say this so i don't want to have kids, have mercy on yourself.
Thanks Bro.. i work 9 hour days too.. so i don't always have time to the household chores, and being on fertility drugs is not fun at all either. I don't know.. i just probably had to vent. It was a bit hard to talk to him without crying (which he hates) so i emailed him pretty much what i wrote here.. and he said he'll make an effort to support me etc.
thanks for the advice..I'm appreciating a guy's point of view too
ks09.. you need to be firm with your husband. Nip it in the bud and tell him that if anyone should be screamign and shouting it should be with with all the drugs pumped in you..

That's great if you are working, at least you are a lot better then the others. You are destroying yourself emotionally, get yourself together and emailing each other when living together is worst part of relationship.
Take a day off both of you, have a walk at beach or park, don't talk about fertility issues - spend some time for yourselves - appreciate life and nature.
Stress will just make it worst. Time out both of you.
Hey, anyone here with POF (premature ovary failure), or kno of someone who have pof and got preg. I'm diagnosed with pof, so far there is no treatment available for this other thn donor egg, which offcorse is not allowed in Islam.
What does POF mean? So you don't have any eggs/follicles? Not even one?
I know a couple of women that were close to POF, and Alhumdulillah, with medication and vitamins and the power of prayer, were able to concieve successfully.
I pray that Allah blesses all the ladies in this forum who are trying to conceive. Allah has a plan for all of us. My heart especially goes out to those who have been trying for years. Surely Allah will reward you for your patience. I think all the ladies in here are some of the strongest women out there. To struggle with fertility issues and still go on about your daily life while others around you are getting pregnant at the drop of a hat is not easy, but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! I hope Allah never leaves anyone in here childless. Ameen. E-hugs to all. :)
I've been TTC since August last year. It's been hard, being disappointed month after month. I've been fertility charting and using ovulation kits for some time now, nothing's been speeding up the process. My daughter will be turning 2 next month and I really want her to have a sibling :(
I'm one day late ... have my fingers crossed!! Hoping for a BFP this time :)
I am now officially 3 days late!! I really want to get a test and see if I’m pregnant or not. But I’m scared as hell of getting a bfn! Been trying for 10 months, have had a chemical pregnancy once at 6 weeks.. so Im scared of it happening again. I just don’t want to be disappointed again What to do?
Hi girls - just wanted some clarification on POF please if you will. I am a PCOS sufferer and have had very irregular periods. It is normal for my cycles to be 6 months+ in length. I have had ultrasounds done etc in the past, but only now will be investigating further due to getting married and wanting children. What I wanted to ask is that if I am experiencing absent periods then what does this mean or could mean? No eggs? No ovulation?
How can a person determine how many eggs they have? What test should be done!? I have had a recent intravaginal scan done, and an ultra sound done. I am booked in for an appointment with my GP nxt week and wanted to know what questions to be asking. GP's are pretty useless. I am waiting on being referred, well, once hubby has his tests done. This process is very long winded and stressful.
I hope all you girls who are struggling, remain patient and not to lose faith. Inshallah allah will give us all the joy of being mums one day!
To help make a diagnosis of premature ovarian failure, your doctor may ask about your signs and symptoms, your menstrual cycle, and a history of exposure to any toxins, such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy, which cause direct injury to follicles and eggs. Most women have few signs of premature ovarian failure, but you’ll likely have a physical examination, including a pelvic exam.
Several blood tests are important in making a diagnosis. These include:
Pregnancy test. Pregnancy tests are often performed to rule out the possibility of an unexpected pregnancy in women of childbearing age who have missed a period.
Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) test. FSH is a hormone released by the pituitary gland that stimulates the growth of follicles in your ovaries. Women with premature ovarian failure often have abnormally high levels of FSH in the blood.
Luteinizing hormone (LH) test. Luteinizing hormone prompts a mature follicle within the ovary to release an egg. In women with premature ovarian failure, the level of LH is usually lower than the level of FSH.
Serum estradiol test. The blood level of estradiol, a type of estrogen, is usually low in women with premature ovarian failure.
Karyotype. This is a test that examines all 46 of your chromosomes for abnormalities. Some women with premature ovarian failure may have only one X chromosome instead of two or may have other chromosomal defects.
There is a new blood test that **measures the levels of AMH (Anti-Mullerian Hormone) **also known as MIS ( Mullerian Inhibiting Substance) which is produced directly by the follicles. AMH levels correlate with how many antral follicles are in the ovaries. Women with low levels of AMH indicate low levels of follicles and produce lower levels of immature eggs.
I would suggest to get all these blood tests done before you decide to take on a major and costly procedure such as IUI or IVF.
