Re: Time for relationship...
How would u know that a guy is an idiot or not?
Re: Time for relationship...
Calling each other constantly throughout the day seems a bit extreme. Some women like that, though. Maybe she is bored at home, or doesn't have anyone else to talk to, and so she clings a bit too much to the husband?
Seriously, it depends on what level of communication the couple is comfortable with. My dh is always in the habit of calling me when he leaves the office (btw guys this is a good habit to get into, and guarantees{hopefully} that you won't come home to find the missus in the clothes she cleaned the bathroom in).
Time alone is important though, even though we've been married for many years now (almost 15!), we still go out on a date at least twice a month, once a week if we're lucky. We've been doing this since we were first married. We also take a weekend away without the kids once a year.
I think its important to think of your husband/wife as a person in their own right, and not just as your spouse, a mother/father, etc. When we have date night we don't talk about the kids, family, or household related issues, we just try to have a good time :)

Re: Time for relationship...
Why is calling frequently a bit extreme? I wouldn't mind if my fiance called me all day :o
Re: Time for relationship...
We make an effort to spend time together since we both have busy lives but we also give each other space. Like saimanyc said, quality over quantity definitely matters. I used to get depressed every time he would have to travel but then I remember I posted a thread here and the feedback I got really helped. Of course it doesn't stop me from missing him a lot but I found I could deal with it better.
Re: Time for relationship…
thats soo sweeeeeeeeeet! wish u two all da best ![]()
Re: Time for relationship...
We both wish we could be together more often. But we are together most of the time, except for when we are working.
We're still at the stage (is it only a stage?) that we miss each other when we're not together.
Re: Time for relationship...
I miss him a lot. We live in different countries. Cant wait till we get married and can spend time together!!

Re: Time for relationship...
I agree with Barfee...
My husband and I have been married for 6 yrs and we always called each other 6-7 times a day, cuz we both work. Of course it depends on how busy you are at work. But now that he has a managerial post he is too busy that we can only talk 1 or 2 times a day and he works from 8am-8pm so it really sux :( I miss talking to him :(
Re: Time for relationship...
reason why i can understand my bf so well;)
Don't worry, it is already becoming that! ;)
Oh and I thought you were a muslim? :D
Re: Time for relationship…
LOLL…awww.. ummm 6-7 times is a bit creepy… id say once or twice a day is gooooood talking i guess over the phone…going out with each other like atlesat once a week is mandatory…gotta have like sunday dinners outside ! Why talk soo much on the phone when u live with that person at home? Can’t u do all dat talking on the bed?
Seems like the girls i bump into, want like serious attention, call me here and call me there. 5-7 times day..sh*T and we aint even married yet!.. kinda scary! …All i have to do is ask her “honey, how was your day?” and it goes non stop for 30 minutes atlesat! like damn women, get a life! I like talkative people but only da ones who have a life…who keep them self busy by working, who have social activities and friends. I’d hate to be stuck in a marriage with a girl with no social activities, who just sits at home and cooks and waits for her husband to come home!
