Re: this question is in my head...
ofcourse relationships guarantee nothing in the general case. if their fazeelat was implicit, why would the prophet take them in his cloak and explicitly spell out that these four people are my family and pray to Allah to purify them?
Re: this question is in my head...
Arm: well if we're talking about the Ahlul Bayt then thats another story all together.The prophet (saw) and the Quran specified these people. Apart from them, if your talking about the likes of Abu Jahal and Lahab, well their relationship didnt garantee them much did it.
Re: this question is in my head…
so for some ppl family relations do matter, but for others they don’t… ![]()
we r moving back in circles now…
Re: this question is in my head…
so u was talking about the Ahl ul Bayt? :halo:
Re: this question is in my head…

Re: this question is in my head…
Finally we had a sane discussion! ![]()
AQ woh poetry urdu thee?
Shuroo shuroo mein kuch samaj ae…![]()
Ya, molvi gave a lecture on how relationships don’t gurantee janaat.
I read Irem’s question, first thing that came to my mind was Hussain a.s. mujh say hai or mein Hussain say…
There’s one saying (I forgot by who)
Ghardan-e Shabbir a.s. say khoon-e-Mohammad pbuh bayh giya.
The blood of the Prophet pbuh (actually) streamed from the (injured) neck of Hussain a.s.
Re: this question is in my head…
jo samajh naa aayee woh Farsi thee :-p
No, seriously
it was farsi!
Re: this question is in my head…
That’s what I thought too.

Re: this question is in my head…
You know I was seriously thinking and I realized how true it is these days that Iqbal said when we see what is happening in Arab and Iraq:
Qaflaa-e-Hijaaz maiN aik Hussain:razi: bhee naheeN
**Garchay hai Taabdaar abhi waadi-e-Dajla-O-Furaat **
![]()
Re: this question is in my head...
I didn't get this ....Garchay hai Taabdaar abhi waadi-e-Dajla-O-Furaat
Hijaaz meaning?
Re: this question is in my head...
^
Hijaaz is the name of area that includes Madina Munawwarh, Makka-e-Mo'azzima, Taaif and surrounding areas.
Dajla-O-Furat are two rivers in shaam and Iraq I guess.... and waadi you know..... and taabdaar means bright :)
now read it again :)
Re: this question is in my head…
“Garchay” kiya hota hai ![]()
Re: this question is in my head…
Although
it’s a vairant of “Agarchay” mostly used in poetry for the balancing purpose.
Re: this question is in my head...
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
Now I understand.
Thanks for explaining.
Now..... yeh samjado......
Sidq-e-Khaleel bhee hai Ishq, Sabr-e-Hussain bhee hai Ishq
**Ma'rka-e-Wujood maiN Badr-O-Hunayn bhee hai Ishq!
Sidq-e-Khaleel - ? {Sidq-e referring to the word Sadqa?}
**The second sentence I don't understand at all.
Ma'rka -e- Wujood - ? {wujood is body but what's Ma'rka?}
Badr-O-Hunayn - ? {is it something to do with battle of Badr?}
Thanks for your patience. :D

Re: this question is in my head…
****Sidq-e-Khaleel -
Sidq meaning the truthfullness … you know the words : Siddique, Sadiq.. .. and Khaleel is the title of Hazrat Ibraheem:as:
Ma’rka -e- Wujood - ? {wujood is body but what’s Ma’rka?}
Wujood can be meant Existence too I guess.. and Ma’rka meaning battle
Badr-O-Hunayn - ?
Badr and Hunayn were two ghaz’waat as you rightly understood about bad’r ![]()
Re: this question is in my head...
Ohhhhhhhh!!!!! Now I get it.
Thanks alot. :)
Re: this question is in my head...
Each side will use Quranic verses in support of their arguments but it's apparent the verses do not support any POV, rather post Qur'anic stories attempting to give context to the verses.. which also differ on both sides of the divide.
The whole concept of Islam as a 'unique' religion in it's times was because it allowed EVERYONE a right to be close to Allah; no matter what their lineage. The absence of Kingdom, Princes and Royals and the shattering of the Arab-Non-Arab distinction was a major attraction of the religion. Why would we want to take the religion back hundreds of years and argue for someone's superiority based on familial ties to the Prophet?
Re: this question is in my head...
^ yeah so each side should come up to you so you can really explain the Holy Quran
anyways each side agree on ayat e mubahila..it talks about Prophet (pbuh&up) and His Ahlul Bait (Ali, Fatima, Hassan, Hussain (a.s.))
