that still hurts because it came from a relative… reason was that i was not the gharelo/ sughaRh type 10 years ago and my younger sister was.
“Aao hum iss ka kaan pakRheiN, abhi tak issney bachey paida nahi kiye” it was a round table conference with various ladies from my in laws giving me a lecture. Awful awful experience

Once my khala was offering her daughter to go for shopping in moti bazar (rwp). And her reply was “Nahi wahan nahi jana, wahan XXXX (my name) jaati hay.”
It was funny and hurtful at the same time.

I hate when the relatives try to create a divide between siblings. We have one female family friend who does that. Whenever she sees my sis and I together somewhere, she would comment only on my sister’s look and ignore me completely. Or sometimes as an after thought she will say, oh yeah madz looks nice too. Drives my mom crazy!

These are the most abused words, esp in west, like the movie “he’s just not that into you” I’m a bit surprised if its said that often in Pak as well.

in life many people say awful things to us but this does not mean we keep reminding ourselves and be sad.
one of the best things in life is to forget and move to much higher standard.
a certain person whom i really liked said something very disturbing but i never gave it a second thought.
in masters a girl got very jealous and said something very disturbing to me but i paid no heed and alhamdolilah im at much better place today.
things do happen but only if we learn to forgive and forget we accomplish more

I have heard so many worse things,and the sad thing is I can’t forget them or Let go n move on.,whenever I see or think about them it remind me of what they said..I don’t know why but I think may be I’m sensitive or may be bitter .

ok that girl in the economics class said such a sub standard thing that i was not able not answer back and in the end she started crying her self and last of all it affected me so much that i dropped my next day exam.
