One of the worst things someone ever said to me was: *You are a failure at life. Real success in life does not come from being highly educated or having a successful career; real success comes from forming good relationships. And you are such a disloyal, awful person that you wouldn’t even be able to keep a husband for longer than a few months.
*This was from a potential proposal whose parents had been shopping around for girls while their son was only interested in this proposal. So when they went ahead with someone else, I stopped all contact with him. This was his response.
Did it make me stronger? No. Still makes me sad to remember all that was said and done.

Another rishta … lol sorry, I have a lot of those stories… so the guy’s parents self-invited themselves to my house. My mom insisted that we exchange pics first but she said, better to meet in person. So they came, she drilled me with questions, and later when my mom called her, she goes: *Meri friend kehti hai jahan likha hoga, tumhe larki ka chehra dekh ke hi pasand aa jaaye gi.
*Meaning she didn’t like my face.
when i was kicked out of Med School…someone in my village said to me, “KahiiN jaa ke Doob maro!” [go, kill yourself somewhere!]
i almost fulfilled his wish but my faith stopped me. i then decided to become a doctor at any cost. lol … now, i treat plants instead of humans. at least, plants can’t sue me! lol … … everything happens for a reason…probably, Allah didn’t want innocent patients dieing at my hands.

same here ppl never gave me their babies to hold k I might hurt them or since I don’t have kids so I don’t know how to hold babies
