Re: the word "Love"
like....why do pakistani females have ovaries?.....like ....what is up with that?....like oh my god.
Re: the word "Love"
The word love is an indirect word that we use actual thing behind this word is sex like we cannot say somone i want sex with you cuz its not an appropriate way.
So we can say that love is bridge that will take you at sex point.
So the word love has zero valus actual thing behind this word is sex this it.
Re: the word "Love"
I mean they "love" anything that moves
It doesnt help that theyve learnt the definition of the said word from Bollywood fillums
am I being too harsh in my generalisation?
LD: The female life form in Pakistan has learnt about "love" from the Bollywood filums as well. I mean Tit for Tat. You are definitely not harsh, but are biased!! :)

Re: the word "Love"
Sonia: I tried to find the answer to that as well. I did not find anything that could satisfy me: Either scientifically or philisophically.
But here is what I think:
You cannot say love is nothing. Love is definitely a very strong feeling. It is a longing, a desire to have something which, you do not have or which, you have but you have a reason to believe that you may loose it. That insecurity is the basis of love. I am sure there are some chemicals in the body responsible for that. It is one of the most important factors in bringing opposite genders together for procreation purposes.
However, it is a temporary feeling and like any other feeling, it is all in your mind.
I have more to say on this but I tend not to read long replies any longer, hence..... Let me know what you think... Give us a clue as why are you clueless?
Re: the word "Love"
^ thats something who hasnt experienced love would say
love is temporary? i dont think so... least i hope not neways
love, is special... and its everlasting... and if u look after it right, it'll only grow stronger, Inshallah

Nothing lasts forever. Love is no exception. It is not as bad as it sounds. As you grow out of love, you realize that there are things more important than love.
I love this poem from Faiz Ahmed Faiz which sorts of captures the essence:
**MUJH say pehli see muhabbat meray mehboob naa maang
main nay samjha tha k tu hay to darakhshaan hay hayaat
tera gham hay tou gham-e-dehar ka jhagra kia hay
teri soorat say hay aalam main baharoun ko sibaat
teri aankhoun k siwaa dunya main rakha kia hay?
tu jo mil jayey to taqdeer nigoon hojayey
yoon naa tha, main nay faqat chaha tha yoon ho jayey
or bhi dukh hain zamaaney main muhabbat k siwaa
raahatain or bhi hain wasl ki raahat k siwaa
an ginat sadiyoun k taareek beyheemaana talism
resham-o-atlas-o-kamkhuwaab main bunwaayey hain
jaabaja biktey huay koocha-o-bazaar main jism
khaak main lathrey huay khoon main nehlaayey huay
laut kjaati hay udhar ko bhi nazar kia kijiyey
ab bhi dilkash hay tera husn, magar kia kijiyey
or bhi dukh hain zamaaney main muhabbat k siwaa
raahatain or bhi hain wasl ki raahat k siwaa
mujh say pehli see muhabbat meray mehboob naa maang!! **
Re: the word "Love"
^ i still dont agree...
a poem is a poem.. its not life... its just words
love is a feeling.. , it changes overtime but it does not diminish.. not if u dont allow it too... in the beginning its more like an obsession, and passion, a need then turns into protection and responsibility... and one day, it agian becomes a need, or dependency...
what u talk about... what diminishes, aint real love... its just feelings for a time being that are confused... maybe its lust? i dunno...
Re: the word "Love"
Love and dependency are different things. You are mixing the two.
"Love is a feeling that changes over time".... What do you mean by that?
And you also said, "if you don't allow it too". That indicates that you think that you control it and you have to make an effort to stay in love. ????? Actually, I think so too. But then it is not a feeling anymore; it is a decision. The unconditional love transforms into conditional love..... A conditional love is not really love.
Please read it twice. I understood what I wrote, when I read it the second time.
Re: the word "Love"
I'm as Pakistani as Chicken Biryani and I haven't said "I love u" to anyone (except my mom ofcourse). I feel the word "love" is sacred and should not be thrown around everytime one feels euphoric. For me, I will only say "I love u" to another girl when I truly mean it. Inshallah, it will be to this one girl I fancy at university but thats a story for another thread :)

i said u have to make an effort to look after it, like any relationship or thing u care about.. i didnt say u have to make an effor to stay in love… geez weez.. people fall in love without knowing it, falling out means u werent ever really there in the first place..
and love changes overtime.. meaning the way u show it changes… it transforms into various things..
Re: the word “Love”

Re: the word "Love"
this is what love is:
Pyar yeh jaane kaisa hai
Kya kahein yeh kuch aisa hai
kabhi dard ye deta hai, kabhi chain ye deta hai
kabhi ghum deta hai, kabhi khushi deta haiaah...aah...aah...aah...
Din tho guzar jatha hai, jiske khayaalon mein
raatein gujarthi hai, uski hee yaadon mein
