Re: the word “Love”
OK! It will drag on and on. You said, “U have to make an effort to look after it, like any relationaship”. IMHO, if someone is in love there are no efforts involved; there is an inner compulsion. You love to do things for the other person. You tend to ignore other persons faults. It is unconditional.
Once security of the relationship is there and the novelity of the relationship expires, love no longer stays unconditional. Expectations change. We do not live in a place where there is a secluded place for every couple. Interactions change. People start comparisions. Demands start to appear. Reciprocation of feelings become bound to the fullfilment of wishes and desires. Conditionalities appear. The need or the desire to stay or stick together may still be there but can you call it love. No, IMHO.

Frineds!
Love is a beautiful thing :~)... just because you didnt get yours stop blaming it on love.
Pyar ko pyar hi rehne do koi aur naam na do
yeh woh mukadas jazba hai is ko badnaam na karo

I agree unfortunately most of the people back home/ over here as well love saying "i love you" - without feelings blah and blah. Sadly people have made love a materialistic thing. Once someone realizes its an immaterial thing and when you are in love one feels their soul is attached with another soul. its a beautiful feeling...
love is a feeling its not something you can touch.. you can touch the other person.. sadly people feel looking at a sexy thing falling in love ..

Re: the word “Love”
laadi my parents had arrange marriage… so usually you have a condition to love someone at that point…
i think love without any condition is a pure love :~) when you have a condition in it.. its more of a respect, care which gets a over all label of love.
