Yes you got it right!
The teaching in Madaris is generations old, e.g. some 200 hundred years ago what was taught in the madaris was upto date but now the same thing is some 200 years old, no one have done any research to accomodate new scientific developments nor does there is any intention to do so…they still believe that memorizing Quran and 40 ahadith is all we need to live in this world and pass through to Jannah in other world…
