There's more to education reform than setting up institutions. It requires constant management and monitoring of progress which had been completely lacking. Mush is the also the first ruler to look at madrassah reforms to bring them back from jihadi jihalat. He has met resistant from the anti-Mush crowd and one more reason why the pro-jihadists think he is a threat to their terrorist ways.
Im talking about higher education, which is the only thing certain Mush apologists can bring up, as we all know what kind of a dump the lower, secondary education system is in. Madrassah reforms? Bombing madrassahs arent exactly reforms. When the govt fails to make schools, madrassahs are where these poor ppl will send their kids too. Btw, I heard these days the MQM is also busy recruiting madrassahs in Karachi and their support for their election campaign.
