We are under attack no doubt about that, we have got Trojan Horses in our country and as long as they exist, killing few foot soldiers or arresting few or operation in certain area is not going to solve the problem, it may help to reduce the frequency but the problem would be there and wold hit Pakistan back with more strength.

I think following is the way out for Pakistan from this mess:

  1. Seal all the borders of Pakistan, nothing goes in and out for certain period of time.

  2. Impose “No-Show-of Weapons” through out the country, and shoot anyone violating it.

  3. The civilian security forces, such as Police should sweep their respective area and kill/arrest all the daciots or anyone carrying weapons. This would certainly secure the common man from being looted, today all it require is a small gun and a motor-bike for street crimes…

  4. Put up a cleaning force comprised of shooters, kill any foreigner involved suspicious activities, we do not have time to investigate, Pakistan is not ‘MOST-FAVORITE’ country to live for Jobs and business.

  5. TTP and their families should be killed mercilessly, the same way they kill us…

  6. Tell US to go to hell and fight its own way out, they had OBL, the mission they started 10 years ago is over, it is time to clean the country and lets clean it while we can…

Please more suggestions… may be somehow, somebody spread the word and the thick heads sitting high up may take one or two…

( I doubt the current leadership political have any intention to bring peace in the country, i just have a feeling that peace would follow once the budget is approved with heavy and impossible to pay taxes )

Public, government or military, the level of seriousness is still not there which we should have by now. If we continue to be in the denial mood, than the point of no-return is not far from where we are standing now.

We shouldn't stoop to their levels, we can kill them but not families, we shouldn't imitate Israel. Rest of suggestions are fine.

Additionally all financial transactions should be monitored.

Isreal had in place a very effective surveillance system and they target-killed almost the entire top leadership of Hamas. They regularly carried out precise operations to destroy homes of top leaders. Last time in March when a bomb explosion in Jerusalem killed one women, the Israeli jets bombed Gaza the same day in retaliation to show that if we are not safe, than no one else is either. However ethically-wrong their strategy may be, but it's surly working for them.

The way out is to honestly fight and destroy all terrorists, terrorist camps and terrorist links inside the establishment, especially agencies such as ISI. Read the Headly deposition from day before yesterday which names names and phone numbers inside ISI who set him up and the mumbai terrorist attack by kasab and gang

Good points and I am quite sure once we make a resolve to implement even half of those, we'll see a drastic reduction in the terrorist attacks in our country.

I would like to add one more thing....

International students specially in Islamic institutions should be under strickt watch. As not all of them are there to study,some are trojan horses.

Close Madrasa's that have even 10% chance of having Taliban influence.

1 - seal for how long? weeks, months, years?

2 & #3 - yup, need to do that

4 - so you're going tell a cop to just shoot at foreigners without investigating? How will you prevent cops from settling their personal scores under this pretext? They may simply claim 'that guy looked like an Indian, so I shot him'

5 - inhuman to kill their families! what did a kid do if the dad was a nutcase?

6 - US will gladly leave if they are assured that a 9/11 or a OBL/Abbottabad will not occur again. How will you assure them?

If you modify your strategy to address above concerns, it will be a good pragmatic way out indeed

Send them back and then what?

Why not have these madrassas under strict watch, who comes there, lives there, what they theach there, how they get their fundings and how they are spending it. Who ever is found in any terrorist activities should be hanged. If we can have death panelty for kindnaping. why not for here?

So add to the list:

  • Madrasshas under strict watch
  • Jaahil Moulvies with any inflaming speech or claiming to have sighted Ramadan or Eid moon should be publicly "Chitrolled"
  • All Azaans should follow the same schedule
  • Anyone glorifying acts like those of Qari, should be hanged with them.

We need more harmony in our society and start should be from Molvies and their supporters.

PS. I deliberately say "Jaahil Molvie" and not Aalim with true knowledge.

Many are Indians who have sneaked in the country in the name of Islamic education and are causing all the troubles.
