After all these years, the scariest movie I ever watched still is the original version of 'The Grudge' and then only the first movie.
Nothing else I watched was ever that scary. I thought 'The Conjuring' would be, given all the hype, but no, it was interesting enough and had some scares, but in the end it just wasn't as really scary. Same goes for 'Paranormal Activity', that was actually less interesting than 'The Conjuring'.
I'm still waiting for a movie to be more scary than 'The Grudge'.
