Should the partner’s name play a factor? Have you rejected someone because you couldn’t deal with their name?
What if the proposal’s name is the same as a sibling’s or cousin’s or niece/nephew?
I have trouble entertaining guys who have names of my cousins. They’re like my brothers, and the idea of screaming out that name in passion… shudders gives me the heeby jeebies.

Now that cannot be the name of a cousin. :)
so if a guy has similar issues with heebie Jeebies what name would you recommend? Like what's female version of names suggested?
I think it would have bothered me a little if my husband's name was same as my father's or brother's name. I have too many male cousins so if I go down that road, I wouldn't have really found a guy. But my husband's name is not so common so no issue there Alhamdulilah.
i personally would not have issues, but an auntie i was talking to told me another lady rejected a girl's rishta because her name did not suit their family.
Ok i always thot sth like this as well wen it came to naming my kid that i wudnt name him an aquaintance's name. And wen he was born i did name him the same as my old friend's name n dint even realize until very recently. N still it dsnt affect my relationship wid baby.
I think u r just overthinking it.
