The Most Obnoxious Irani Man...

OMG!! Poor you. Okay, first of all have you tried telling him frankly that you don’t like this behavior and its not funny, you don’t really enjoy this banter or whatever he thinks it is? Try that if you haven’t, just say … listen, I guess you think you’re funny, but to me you’re not… this is making me uncomfortable and kindly do not do this anymore or I will have to report you to HR.

If that doesn’t work, you need to find out if his behavior bothers other people around you as well, discretely… and is he this obnoxious to other people besides you? If yes, start documenting his behavior… start a diary or something so you can actually quote incidents… then report this to HR, they will conduct an investigation and warn him. Its no use talking to your supervisor as she seems clueless about handling this, but yes HR representatives are trained to deal with difficult situations… tell them that this kind of behavior is affecting you and workplace is becoming extremely unprofessional for you to work in.

He directs this behavior towards me more than others.
