re: The Ashes 2010/11 + Australia v England 7-match one-day series

First T/20 today. Australia have won the toss and will bat. If England win this one they will create a new world record of eight consecutive wins. Come on England.

re: The Ashes 2010/11 + Australia v England 7-match one-day series

Aus 157/4 off 20 overs.

Good work by English bowlers.

re: The Ashes 2010/11 + Australia v England 7-match one-day series

from Cricinfo:

that was a pretty tidy effort from England's bowlers, all things considered. It could have got messy after those three sixes off Swann, but they kept the score in check. A win here, and England will ensure they remain unbeaten in all forms of the game for 16 series and counting. Which is quite some achievement ...

re: The Ashes 2010/11 + Australia v England 7-match one-day series

Eng 158/9 off 20 overs.

England win.

Cricinfo:

Wow. That was epic. That is England's eighth successive Twenty20 victory, which is a new record for the format, and they are also unbeaten in all formats for 16 series and counting, regardless of what happens in the second match on Friday.
